It was busy and the young wait staff are working hard but don't give a rats ass about you. An entire shelf of metal trays came smashing to the floor and they simply left it there. They put a caution wet floor sign and they all walked around it. Some even kicked trays into the back kitchen. The kitchen was so loud, smashing pots and pans, breaking glasses made for a terrible experience. Food arrived on oddly sized plates. Some who had ordered the same dish had it on 2 different plates. The Hell's Kitchen chicken arrived cold, the veggies seems like the were heated in the microwave in a bag and there were 3 mushrooms on the plate. Everything seemed like it was thrown on the plate. The chicken parmesan was heated in a microwave. The veal sandwich and French fries were not fresh and also seemed microwaved. The restaurant was also filthy. Seems like they mop the floors with olive oil and the bathrooms were gross. I'll never be back. Would have had a better and cheaper experience across the street at the Belle Province or Subway.

We were tired from a long day of exploring the area and so decided on something 'easy'. Mikes fit the bill. I would rate it above the typical TGIFriday's or Chili's in the US. While here we tried pizza, a sandwich, a salad, salmon, poutine, pasta with meat sauce, brownies, pumpkin pie, and ice cream. Even with all that and a pitcher of beer, the total before tip was just over $100. Everything was good and it was a nice relaxed dining atmosphere. Luckily our waitress spoke decent English (to compliment our regrettably poor French) and we had no issues in ordering. Stopping here after a long day of sightseeing topped the night off perfectly.

They were very kind to my ignorant ass and politely told me the wait for fresh-made sushi would be 40 minutes and offered that I select from the pre-made stuff in the cold case. It was the usual mix of California rolls paired with salmon nigiri. Also both wakame and ika salads were present. For $12.95 Canadian, I chose the aforementioned combo containing 9-10 pieces. It was as fresh as can be expected in a mountainous climate. Overall not bad; they have bottles of sake and Canadian champagne (molson.) Drink enough of either and you'd swear you were at Nobu.

I ordered and paid at the register, had to grab my own plastic cutlery, and was never asked if I wanted tap water or how my meal was. First time in my life I regretted tipping. Anything cooked was cooked a while ago. The tempura was cold and chewy, making the black mamba roll inedible. Although I arrived right at open, there was a stack of cooked spring rolls dying on a tray in the window. This had the effect of soggy, room temperature spring rolls. Avoid.
