Having grown up in Montreal, this was like going home and entering the warm and welcoming Quebequois eatery. The big screen tv was on, and above it were Montreal Canadiens' hockey shirts. I saw they had an extra room off to the left of the entrance for additional customers. We were immediately seated at a bench in the main part of the restaurant facing the kitchen and provided menus. Since my French was rusty I did my best "Franglais" but the ladies were bilingual so we all ordered. The food was delicious and plentiful, just like I remembered. The parking was full with truckers stoping for supper break and a great outdoor picnic area in their side yard. Lots of picnic tables all spaced sufficiently apart. The fries were crispy and amazing with vinegar (which is the only way to eat Quebec fries!). Hot dogs were also very good. Worth the stop!
