We started with cheese curds. Loved that they were batter fried and not breaded. Very tasty and a huge app portion. My entree was the pulled pork sandwich with bbq beans. Everything was very good. Pork had a savory flavor and it was nice and tender. Portions were large. Topped it all off with a Hazy Little Thing beer. Great service. Easy parking. Just off a major road. Great stop.

My husband works for an LTL delivery service and made a couple deliveries to Jellybean and Julia's…read morewhen they were opening their current location. He told me back then that someday we needed to check out J&J's. We love small business, local, non-chain restaurants. I decided to surprise my husband and take him to J&J's for Father's Day. We are empty nesters, so it was just the two of us for lunch. We arrived just after 12 p.m. There was a line out the door, which we expected since it was Father's Day and Sunday lunchtime. We were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a table, which we had no issue with. We ended up waiting less than 10 minutes because there was a table available on the patio. The weather was beautiful, and with summer being so short in Minnesota, we like to take advantage of it whenever we can. Our server came to our table shortly after we were seated, but it was long enough that we both had time to decide what we wanted before she arrived. I ordered the Texas Philly, and my husband had the brisket sandwich. We had to wait a while for our food, which we understood given how busy the restaurant was. Others around us were complaining about the wait, and those tables had a different server who was very apologetic about the kitchen being backed up. The hand-cut fries were piping hot and seasoned perfectly. It's so rare to go out to eat and get hot fries, let alone fries that are piping hot. That alone was worth the wait! My husband loved the brisket sandwich, and the Texas Philly was SO good--piled full of meat. We live in the south metro, but it was well worth the 30+ minute drive to get there. We'll definitely be back and will absolutely recommend J&J's to others!

We walked into the restaurant and went to the line to order the sandwich, he asked us what kinds of toppings to add and then toasted it. There's was some grease on the paper, assuming that was the dressing they used on the sandwich. Also tried the chicken pot pie soup, that was good also. Ambiance was feeling very rustic with the wood and old burner by the entrance.

They are lightly breaded and tossed in the King sauce (i believe). It is a really unique flavor and has a slight kick at the end. Dunk it in the Queen sauce (green and my fav) and it cools it down. We also tried the dirty sodas that are limited time. I'm obsessed with the Baja cloud dirty soda. It also helped cool down the heat of the wings. Obsessed! Thanks again Sandwich King for being so great and your food is comforting and so tasty.

Tables are small - really for two ppl and 3 max. But you can put some together if needed. Lots of to go orders on a Friday night. You order at the cashier, and they call your number when they take your order out. We got the King Rice Bowl, Chicken Shawarma, Gyro Cheese Fries and Gyro Plate. Portions are huge! The rice entrees are easily for 3 people. The wraps at least 2 hungry people. Orders take 15-20 minutes to prepare which they tell you up front. We got the Banana Pudding tres leches & Biscoff-Oreo tres leches to go. The base tres leches cake & cream frosting is really good. The banana pudding was ok but doesn't use real bananas. The strawberry one would probably be really good. We will be back!

The store called me to tell me they did not have a driver so I had to go there to pick it up…read more When I arrived, all the additional online charges including service fees, delivery fee, and driver tip were still on the charge. I asked them to remove the additional charges. They were unable to do so, so they said they were voiding and canceling the Door Dash order. It took the 3 employees a long time trying to figure out how to charge me. I was tired and hangry and just wanted my food. So eventually, the store charged me for my sandwiches in the store. And then hours later I get notified that Door Dash was on the way and then had delivered my food. THE ONLY FOOD I GOT WAS WHAT I DROVE TO THE STORE TO PICKUP, WHICH THEY CHARGED ME FOR. Jimmy John's and Door Dash both need to fix this. I've had very limited income, so this was a treat for myself. This the first time in many months that I ordered food from anywhere. And now I am angry. Jimmy John's should have fixed the fees when they called me to go pick up my food. But they didn't. So they canceled the Door Dash order and charged me in store. Update: Door Dash refunded my money when I contacted them this morning. Jimmy John's needs to do better! If you have no driver, make it so your website and Door Dash can only be used for pickup orders. Jimmy John's, small things like a beverage, pickle, and chips would go a long way to smoothing things out for creating this hassle for a customer. Jimmy John's, another way to fix this would've been to cancel the Door Dash order before the customer arrives, since you called them and know they are coming to get the food. A discount for the hassle would be another viable option. But no, I had to tell them to remove the additional fees. In case you haven't guessed, I will not be ordering from your store again.
