I used to live between 10 and 15metres from this Subway at one stage and I do think it's worthy of a mention as it did serve me well in my days as a student, nursing all kinds of hangovers.
Although this particular shop isn't particularly different from the many which now litter Belfast's landscape, it certainly is one of the best in terms of quality of sandwich.
The staff who work there seem much more content with their job and less likely to bite at you if you ask for extra pickles or chillies. They are open until 9pm most evenings which is good when you end up going to bed at nine in the morning and wake up ravenous for some sort of meat filled bread based meal.
I will admit, Subways every still have the problem of quality of product. The meat for example sometimes wouldn't look out of place in a can of Pedigree Chum and the bread has that chewy, bleach white look if you opt for one of the many variations on white bread that they stock.
All in all though it's cheap and cheerful. You won't get food poisoning and you will get well fed. read more
