I did not plan food for Saturday night ( tonight) because there is a grill near the lake. We get to the grill for food and it is over an hour and a half wait for both dine in and to go. We leave and drive to Bayfield for a restaurant that said it was open until 8:30. Surprise! They were not. We then go to a brewery and cannot eat there because they don't allow dogs on the patio ( did I tell you I had my dog? Because I did) so I lookup anything that is open in the area and alas, there is Pine Cone. The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. Thank you Pine Cone for coming through for us tonight

The only reason I'm even stuck here is that Subway and everything else nearby is closed. This is hands down the slowest restaurant I have ever been to. When I called inside, an employee claimed they got hit with a busload of football players. Even so, 55 minutes for a drive-thru burger is absurd. Why are drive-thru orders deprioritized behind an entire bus that is still standing in line placing orders? I'm not expecting two-minute McDonald's speed, but an hour? I could have gone to a sit-down restaurant, had a full meal and a drink, and already been on my way home.

This is a biker friendly bar that also has people of all ages and walks of life frequenting it on a regular basis. Bike rally's and flat screen tv's all over the place showing the latest sporting event. A couple of warm stoves and fireplaces make this a really cozy place in colder weather and the expansive decks are great for drinks and dining as well. As a long time Vallecito resident, I am really glad they are here. We love the Hideaway - where there are no strangers, just friends you haven't met yet!

This week I had the same (making sure it wasn't a fluke) along with some fries. Not a fluke. It was so good, the fries were perfect.
