They supposedly had an emergency. (See below about how fast they returned my call when I cancelled their service.) I contacted Waltz in a panic and, once they ascertained that we owned our tanks, they were able to get to us the same day and within a few hours and, after ensuring that everything was as it should be with our tanks, filled the tanks. I want to add that - as opposed to the former company, who did not respond to my emergency call inquiring as to where they were and ONLY called me back when I left a message saying they were no longer needed (and they called back seven minutes after *that* message) - each and every time I called Waltz & Sons the calls were answered promptly and courteously and my questions answered. Although I didn't appreciate the former company's "let them eat cake" and "we'll get back to you when it suits us" attitude, I consider that now that we are customers of Waltz & Sons, everything DEFINITELY ended up all for the best! I should add that the people who provided and installed our generator said that they have had a number of dealings with Waltz & Sons and recommended them highly. In addition, months before, I had compared prices for about six propane companies with Waltz coming in as the second least expensive and the company that never showed being least expensive, so paying a TINY BIT more to actually deal with a competent and efficient company that shows up has turned out to be well worth it.

On Christmas Eve I checked my outdoor tank and discovered that the tank was 10% full. I called and left a message at the offices in Portland to request a delivery. I have never heard back from them. The day after Christmas (Friday) I called back just after 8 am to request a delivery again. After a half hour waiting for a customer service rep to pick up I spoke with Jenny who told me that she was putting in a delivery request ticket and the propane would be delivered later that day. It was not. On Saturday morning at 8 am I called back and waited another half hour and then spoke to Mary who went through the same process with me. I asked her to have the dispatcher and or driver let me know when I should expect the propane. Never heard back from anyone. And there was no deliver by 3 pm so I called back again to checked on the progress. Spoke to Devan and then Brenda who both went through the same process and said they were contacting the folks in Maine again who deliver the propane. No delivery or communication on Saturday. On Sunday just after 8 am I called again and after another half hour on hold I spoke with Gloria who said that they were working on 'on an exceptional practice' basis. Not sure what that meant? She said she was contacting the "driver". At 2:45 pm I called them again and left a message. At 3:25 pm I got a call back from Cody who went through the same process with me and then just hung up on me. Very unprofessional. I called back at 4 pm ingot through to Taya who said she was that they were dispatching a driver and that they would call me to confirm directions. Did not get a a call or a delivery!? On Monday at 8 am I went through this again and got Brenda again. She confirmed that my phone number and the detailed directions to my house were connected to my account and available to the assigned driver. At 1:30 pm I got Samaia on the phone who was able to connect me to Dylan, who is higher up in the customer service center. He went over the details of this now very tiring story, reconfirmed the phone and direction info and said he would expedite the delivery. It is now 5:40 pm om Monday afternoon. No calls back from anyone at Suburban AND NO PROPANE DELIVERY!! All the customer services reps was professional and tried to assist me except Cody. This is NOT customer service and I suggest, you consider your options carefully when consider using Suburban Program. For more than 10 years I felt like a valued customer. NOW I REALIZE I AM JUST A DISPOSABLE CONSUMER!! Sad, but true.

The not pleasant woman said no nope don't have anything like that. You have to go on line. She was quick , short acted like I was putting her out. There wasn't another customer in the place. I found the dividers and boxes I asked for 10 feet from her. beware other customers they are not knowledgeable about what they sell in their store. Its a shame U-haul pays employees like her to do a good job and she wastes there money and looses customers. The gentlemen working with her wasn't much better. I've never given a review before for any company but that was just too much.

Their website is easy to use and it is easy to schedule an appointment. I tend to use the web / email which allows me the chance to send a picture of what I think is wrong so they can trouble shoot. They are very timely with follow up and appointments to get to your house as soon as possible. I like that they will call you around 30 mins out so you don't have to stay home and wait.

I checked my tank on each thursday as thats the day they deliver to our area but no oil, no foot prints in snow leading to tank fill??? Was told my tank guage must be sticking, ok i thought but whats the chances of the second guage on the second tank next to it being off? They are linked together and both would need to be stuck. Wow! What a chaotic experience I had stopping by Cumberland Farms this Thanksgiving day to pick up…read morea Thursday paper. The placed was packed with a long line. Thank goodness they had two people running the cash registers and it didn't take long for me to work my way to the front of the cash out line. The parking lot was crowded full with vehicles all trying to buy gas or work there way to a parking spot so they can make their way into the store for their Thanksgiving needs. Normally, I would have given Cumbys a 3 rating today, but do to the fact that they offered it's customers a free cup of coffee and the fantastic demeanor of the sales associates I am up in my rating to 4.
