We hired this florist in January 2020 for our wedding scheduled for March 20, 2020. Then COVID hit, and just days before our wedding, everything shut down. Like countless other couples, we were devastated to have to cancel our wedding through absolutely no fault of our own. Here's what makes this experience so appalling: No flowers had been ordered. No arrangements had been made. Nothing had been delivered. No floral services had been provided. Yet this business refused to return our money. I understand that COVID was financially devastating for small businesses. I genuinely sympathize with that. But apparently, their solution was to keep our money despite providing absolutely nothing in return. Rather than showing compassion, flexibility, or even basic customer service, they were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to work with us. We had to send multiple firm letters and fight to recover our money. Ultimately, we never received a refund. Think about that. Our wedding was canceled because of a global pandemic, we received no flowers or services, and this business still kept our money. What bothers me most isn't simply the financial loss. It's the complete lack of empathy and integrity we experienced. At a time when people were struggling and communities were coming together to support one another, this business chose to handle our situation in a way that felt extraordinarily selfish and callous. A wedding florist is someone you trust with one of the most important days of your life. Trust, professionalism, and basic human decency should matter. Based on our experience, I would never trust this business again. It's now been more than six years, and I still remember how terribly we were treated. That should tell you something about the lasting impression this business made. My advice: Think very carefully before giving this company your money.
