We went in an hour or so before closing time to get a couple ice creams. We were excited to see the process, as nitrogen ice cream isn't something I've ever had. There were two staff members. One started to make our orders, but while making the second ice cream they ran out of nitrogen They both seemed totally unsure of what to do next. They said "the nitrogen tank is empty" to me and then silence. When they didn't say anything else, I was like "ok, what does that mean?" They struggled to figure out a solution and it was awkward as a customer. It felt like I inconvenienced them, or as if their responsibilities as staff members were gone as soon as the nitrogen was gone. Weird experience. We ended up with one ice cream, and one cup of soupier-than-a-milkshake "ice cream". They charged us for two ice creams which is fine, but I definitely left feeling like I didn't get what I paid for, and I didn't get the experience that their business is literally centered around as far as standing out from any old ice cream shop. Would've been happier with a pint of Ben and Jerry's lol! Reaching for positive comments, they did have a cute little seating area outside with two sets of Adirondack chairs and two little tables. read more
