Seriously one of the best decision was to come here for weight loss! I've always been a bit over weight and I've tried all kind of diets from pills, to diet fads, and medical spas. None really was as easy and effective as the techniques that is used here. They've been around a while and the granddaughter Irene has taken over the business. She is so kind and patient. At first I thought it was needles all over your body. Actually it was only one needle that you can't even feel and then vibrating pads placed along points on your body. I gained 20 lbs in the last 2 years and have been trying so hard to lose the weight. I tried a nutritionist, going to the gym, hot yoga, as well as several different diets. Nothing worked. Then my friend suggested acupuncture weight loss. I must confess that it took me a couple of months to get my butt over there, but after gaining another 2 lbs for no reason, I finally caved. Dr. Chang is like a strict yet caring auntie. In the beginning when I was hardly losing any weight, she would interrogate me, asking what I ate, whether my husband felt sorry for me and tried to tempt me with delicious food, etc. Then the pounds started to miraculously come off. I started about a month ago, stopped the diet for 1 week in between, and lost 10 lbs so far, so 3.3 lbs/week? I'm not the most compliant dieter in the world, in fact I'm horrible in that regard - if we go out to dinner with the family, I'll have a normal meal; if it's somebody's birthday, I'll have a piece of cake; if my veggie soup is completely tasteless, I'll add some animal fat to make it better. My point is, Dr. Chang's acupuncture works, even if you cheat a little here and there. How her diet works: you go in every other day for acupuncture, and every time you go in, she changes your diet.
