I love watches. I love fountain pens.
Stylus Magazine caters to both my passions.
"What kind of girl are you?" you ask.
The kind who -also- loves purses & jewelry.
Why do I have to limit myself?
I was particularly interested in the April/May 2007 issue because the cover story featured my beloved (I don't care what Srini says) Blancpain, which has partnered with Grayson Tighe. The designs are a tad busy for my taste & more than a tad out of my current (zero - income) financial status. If anyone wants to gift me with one of the $4,000 pens, though, I won't complain!
With articles like "Planning a new purchase?" the publication also provides guides for shopping in much lower price ranges. Accessibility for all levels. On reader asked, "Dear Stylus - What, in your opinion, constitutes quality in a pen?" Avoid wobbliness, it denotes poor craftsmanship.
More advanced collectors & users are educated about ink pH & the such. (Yes, it matters!)
The Contact Info page at the end is very useful & includes URLs.
Beautiful photos with attention to fine details.
Minus 1 star for skimpy pen reviews in Roadtest. A little more information would be appreciated. read more
