I could not get in touch with any reps over the phone to discuss details about their products. I went ahead and went with the legitimate media source for my recognition item and had much better customer service with an extremely higher-quality product. read more

I have received no less than 8 emails in two hours on a Sunday morning, offering me a plaque. This is after 30 emails of the same nature and multiple phone calls. Their solicitations border on harassment. read more

These are bottom-of-the-barrel scammers with zero integrity. Showmark Media sells unauthorized, low-quality award products to unsuspecting professionals who don't realize that Showmark Media is not affiliated with the organizations that hand out the awards. Their products are practically worthless. I understand people often resort to distasteful behavior in times of desperation, but I'm not sure how Showmark Media's owners and employees sleep at night. read more

You could pay them half the value of the original award grantors, or simply go to a local trophy store and have your own plaque made for a fraction of what showmark charges! After all, Showmark isn't actually affiliated with any of the original award providing organizations anyhow. What a racket all this is! Prove me wrong. read more

An absolutely wonderful company! George Alexander helped me with my orders - he was so patient, very curteous, thoughtful, quick to respond and very accommodating! My orders were customized at no extra charge, no matter how many changes I requested. It was fantastic working with him and the company that he represents. The orders were processed very fast and scheduled for delivery faster than the estimated delivery time, even in this holiday season. Showmark contacted a company that had been nominated for one of our publication's awards. THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH OUR COMPANY and they are NOT AUTHORIZED to reprint anything from our publication. If they contact you for a plaque of your award, BEWARE! They likely do not have the authorization to use the copyrighted material from that publication. They will either create a plaque that has nothing to do with the publication, or they will be stealing artwork from the publication. If you are recognized with an award or in a publication, contact THAT publication, they will point you in the direction of their authorized business partners. read more

This company goes after people who win awards through publications that they aren't affiliated with and then asks you to review your award preview. This company is not affiliated with the company that I won the award with and was not affiliated in any way. They go through the award list and then try to get you to buy their product. They would not stop emailing me asking me to order their plaque almost every day. read more

This company is extremely misleading and solicits winners of awards to purchase plaques under the guise of being affiliated with us. They deliver low-quality work that customers dislike, and then come to my company (we run award programs) complaining that they are outraged by how expensive the plaque was compared to the quality. We have had our honorees "scammed" many times. Furthermore, they are printing copyrighted work. I'm not sure how a company can feel comfortable operating with zero integrity. read more

I would give them a zero rating if I could because they are scam artists! They emailed me today trying to get me to buy a recognition plaque for $159 stating our brand, A Wild Soap Bar, was chosen " Best Natural & Organic Brands In The Market" as published in Organic Spa Magazine. This is simply a directory listing of companies, not "the best" of anything, and certainly not endorsed by Organic Spa magazine. Beware of these guys. Being an attorney I was very happy that I was offered a plaque and matching marquee for a reasonable price by Showmark. The quality is outstanding and I am satisfied. Most of the legal publications that offer the same products, contract the work out and charge double. I would not be put off if Showmark does not work with the publications directly. Many companies make plaques and this is 100% legal. read more

Ordered a plaque and was happy with the quality, selection and process with the exception of being promised a display stand with my initial order. After receipt of the plaque I called and inquired about the stand. I was given a apology and promised the stand would be shipped out the following day. Two months later still no stand! Could of had more stars if the customer service was better. read more

I second previous reviews. This company is a scam and contacts finalists and winners of legitimate accolades from my business to sell shoddy products purporting to be associated with us (apart from in the very small print). We have received multiple complaints not only about the terrible quality of their products but also about their persistent spam emailing. This company is damaging our brands and despite being sent a cease and desist letter in February 2017, they continue to contact our clients and misrepresent themselves as being associated with us. They are scum and should be shut down. read more

I ordered a plaque for my daughter who was recognized for Hilton's top rising stars. A complete rip-off for the money. I got passed the ridiculous price of $150 for something that was worth 20 bucks, but then they hit me over the head even more when they charged 20 bucks to deliver it.Id do anything for my daughter cause I know she appreciated it but this useless company who has no affiliation with Hilton could care less . read more

Showmark Media lead me to believe they were the authorized plaque suppliers for Sun Newspaper's in Minneapolis. I was fooled into paying for their plaque after my company won the Best Business of my type in a suburb of Minneapolis. Showmark indicated they were going to refund my money but that was a month ago. Sun Newspapers of Minneapolis indicates that many of their "Best" winners have been fooled into buying the Showmark plaque which is unfortunate as it is not even half a nice and correctly laid out as the one I ended up purchasing from Sun Newspapers. And Sun's plaque was half the price. read more

These scammers email my business several times a day making fake claims that I have won an award. This is just a scam to get you to pay for a phony plaque for a non-existent award. If you get an email from them, it doesn't mean that you actually won an award. They're just trying to get their hands on your hard-earned money. read more

The majority of these reports are correct. Our attorneys received an email asking if they wanted to order the plaques. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone with our local publication they claimed to get the award with and they hadn't run a "Best attorneys in Denver" publication in over a year. When I asked the rep at Showmark to provide the article or contact name, link, anything.... she replied that she couldn't. Consider yourself warned! read more
