My first visit in June with Kyra was nothing short of an impression. She took her time to consult and enlighten based on the details I shared, hands down the most educational session I have ever received - yay for understanding mixed hair more! This session today allowed us the opportunity to delve into more exploration: layers, face framing and even inquisitions on coloring in the future - which I have never done. After both sessions, I have left the salon feeling heard, light, rejuvenated and never rushed. Kyra's tangible passion and love for her craft leaves you feeling and looking beautiful. I had an appointment with Nari for highlights and a hair cut. After discussing the color, I…read moreexplained that I wanted to be sure my grown out highlights and the new ones were blended together. The hair cut, I wanted a couple inches off and to add long layers as my previous hair cut was a lob. She only blowdried a small section of my hair when she was done and it didn't look terrible. But two days later when I was straightening my hair, I realized that 1) The highlights were definitely not great 2) It looks like a toddler cut my hair. I actually cried... even my husband said it looked bad. You can see every single cut she made. Update: The owner, Lisa, reached out to me and let me know she would make sure I was happy with the hair cut and that I would not be charged. I went to Tara who did a great job and made the cut much closer to what I had wanted. Lisa (The owner) had her also blow dry my hair (which I hadn't paid for) as well to make sure I liked the cut. While I am not thrilled I had to take more time out to get a better haircut, I'm thankful that the owner was dead set on making it right. My tip: Look at reviews for each stylist and determine who is a best fit for you. I wouldn't recommend Nari but Tara was great.

When I arrived at the salon, the stylist Nes greeted me warmly. I asked to add an extra service, knowing it would take more time, and she was more than happy to accommodate me on short notice.
