The store was somewhat busy on a Sunday morning, as there were other groups shopping and getting help from the staff. There seems to be a good variety in terms of lehengas. They had a lot of mix and match outfits. You pick out colors and they'll bring out options they think will make for a cohesive outfit (top, skirt, and scarf). I think this is good if you have a pretty specific vision for colors and styles, but we were just starting our search and would have liked a bit more guidance on styling and pricing. I think part of that was that it was like two staff members helping at least 2 other groups. Service was otherwise nice, and they did answer our questions when we had some. They also did not pressure us to buy anything, which we've experienced at other Indian clothing stores. The pricing for a lehenga set that includes top, skirt, and scarf is probably in the ~$150+ range, as you would be mixing and matching. I think in retrospect, after shopping at other stores, although mixing and matching can be nice, I personally preferred already matched sets since they seem more cohesive. We were also looking for kurtas and sherwanis. The staff kind of just showed us where they were located in the store. I remembered seeing prices approximately $300-$500 range for sherwanis. The nice part was that they gave us a sense for sizing, so that was helpful. It seems they have a lot of other outfits, jewelry, shoes, celebration items that we didn't look too much into. After shopping at a few other stores, I am actually not sure if they offer tailoring here, since they tended to pick out lehenga tops for my specific size, and not necessarily other sizes with styles. Might be worth asking if they do have tailoring. I am also not sure if a factor is that it would narrow the styles I would try on. I can imagine that it would be labor intensive and time consuming to take out a bunch of different sizes and styles, and then having to put them back. I didn't realize how intensive the process of buying/selling lehengas was before shopping here! The store is somewhat organized and it does have two fitting rooms for you to use. I can see how it can be hard to try things on if the store gets busier. The downside of trying things on here is that lighting isn't the best. Overall, I think this was a nice store to shop for Indian clothing!

Due to the enormity of the task I decided to enlist the services of a personal stylist to assist me. Early in the year I started contacting stylists based on listings in Yelp. Ting was the first person I was able to reach over the telephone. She had stellar reviews and the rates she quoted me seemed more than reasonable. We had made arrangements in mid-March to begin the process but unfortunately the shelter in place orders due to COVID-19 put a stop to those plans. Once restrictions began loosening up in the fall Ting contacted me to proceed with the initial plan. In our first meeting I told her specifically that I was looking for a stylish, versatile, minimalist wardrobe. As she looked through my closet, I explained that my preference would be to get rid of everything and do a complete revamp. We discussed what my wardrobe should look like based on my age, size, and fashion goals. The first day of shopping, Ting arranged to be at the store a half hour before I arrived. Once I showed up there was a dressing room reserved for me with shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, and shoes all picked out already. When I saw that my gut feeling told me that I had made the right decision to hire her. A task that would have likely taken me all weekend was condensed down to three hours. Overall, the services she provided were as follows: an initial consultation at my residence, three hours of shopping in person, searching for online products for remaining items, and one final consultation at my residence. She helped me with absolutely everything, from shirts and pants to socks and belts. Besides the utility of the new wardrobe, I've found the experience to have a rejuvenating effect on my psyche. Seeing my new closet brings me much joy and I feel like a new man. I give Ting my highest recommendation.

When I found out that Tina - who I knew as a reputable fashion designer of a high end label - was branching out to help the likes of people like me! I was very excited!
