I had high hopes that this nail salon would be the last one I needed to try in Butte. Unfortunately…read moremy appointment was rather interesting and I won't be going back. They called me several times to change my appointment around. When I got there, I was asked to pick a color. Then waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. Not because they were busy or working on another client which was kinda confusing. Before the woman started (drilling/filing) working on my acrylic fill she pulled out a page of the comic section from last Sundays newspaper instead of a paper towel. I was pretty surprised, hadn't seen that before. Didn't seem like tools were well sanitized. When she put the liquid on so your nails don't lift it burned. When I went to wash my hands (when she told me to) it was the last step and after she had applied polish and a top coat. In the past I've usually washed my hands after the filing/drilling was done and before polish. The fill was $60 which is more than I've paid at a more sanitary, clean salon. So my search continues to see where I can find a salon that I won't be reading Calvin & Hobbs, worry about getting an infection and not have to use nail polish remover to clean up the excess nail polish around my cuticles. I would hope the health department or someone mandates the cleanliness of salons.

Their idea of addressing this issue is to deny any and all responsibility and blame her. She has multiple piercings and knows how to take care of them. They resorted to name calling and absolutely refused to refund her money. My son and his girlfriend tried to resolve this in a reasonable manner but apparently Mr. Gibz would prefer to settle this in court. If you are considering a piercing, go somewhere else where they are not afraid to accept responsibility should they botch the piercing.
