I saw Kimberley for a deep tissue massage and it was literally the best massage of my life- and I've had a lot of massages. Most massage therapists cannot apply a deep enough pressure for my liking, but hers was perfect! She also really got into my hips and jaw which I appreciated, because I find most massage therapists shy away from those areas, and that's where I keep all my tension. I wish I lived in the area so she could be my regular masseuse, and I hope she starts to mentor other students to massage the way she does. read more

I treated myself to a massage at Whispering Willows today and loved every minute of it. I booked with the owner, Chrissy, because I've seen her before. Her hands are magical! I've been holding a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, so she worked a little extra on those areas. She has always been very professional. If you're unsure of massage etiquette, be sure to ask--she will put you at ease whether you're a leave-my-socks-on kind of person, or go fully au naturale. She will put you at ease. My bestie booked with Sandy today and said it was the best massage she's ever had. The spa also offers hot stone and cupping, which I've never tried, because massages are so amazing. Maybe someday... So, go treat yourself! Definitely worth the drive over from Butte. And follow it up with a complimentary soak at the hot springs. read more

Just got done with my very first ever Swedish massage with Chrissy! Stopped in with my sister in law and mother in law, and the girls at whispering willows absolutely exceeded our expectations! sorry to report but this was truly the worst massage of my life!! 90 minutes of basically having oil applied to my body, not massaged. I specifically requested a deep tissue and she verified I was paying for the upgrade. When I asked for more pressure to be applied it lasted for about a minute. Extremely disappointed. read more

My complaint is not about the massage itself I've gotten a few over the years and they all have been fine, although I do feel that for one hour relaxation massage $100 is a little overpriced. But im very disappointed in management and communication. Trying to get someone to answer the phone is a joke. But when I finally could get ahold of someone I called a month in advance to book my mom a surprise massage. The ladies seemed like it was all taken care of, took down my card information and had it booked, I even called twice in the following weeks restating what I wanted for my mom and that it was a surprise and that I was paying for it and I once again gave them my payment method. so my mom goes to the appointment and is so excited for her gift and gets done and then they proceed to act like they have no idea what's going on or that I called about it and say she needs to pay right now and add gratuity! so she ended up charging it to her room which they told me they couldn't do previously. It's not very nice or relaxing for someone to say surprise I bought you a massage and your all relaxed and now you have to see how much it costs and pay yourself. It's really disappointing to get someone a gift and have it all planned out and then the day comes around and they have no idea what you're talking about and force the person to pay rather than contacting me. lesson learned I won't be returning read more

Being a Physical Therapist Assistant, I so glad this place is wonderful! What an amazing opportunity to have while visit Fairmont Hot Springs! The staff is friendly and the setting is very professional. They are currently remodeling the entry hallway but you wont hear any noise while receiving a massage. My husband and I just received the Swedish massage with an extra fee for deep tissue work and we were blown away! Both therapists(female) asked us about specific areas we would them them to focus on, and they definitely used deep pressure! We were absolutely amazed at their skilled knowledge and attentiveness. They don't just "go through the motions", we both had a different experience, his they relieved his shoulder and lower back pain, mine they relieve my upper trapezius, rhomboids, calves, and hamstrings and many other areas. Highly recommend the 1 hr Swedish massage. We will definitely will be back on our next trip! read more
