I happen to have been there the day she had her hair done and it was simply gorgeous! He spent many hours on getting her cut and color perfect! She left the salon extremely happy - I saw it with my own eyes! The pictures she shows are definitely not what I saw! He could never do anything like that! Maybe she is a scam artist and does this frequently so she can try to get her money back from people I don't know? Either way it is not fair to be dishonest and lie about such things. My experience at Madison West was nothing but warm and inviting! I have difficult hair and Jeffrey has no problem cutting it perfectly and he does a fabulous job with color! He is a perfectionist and won't let you leave the salon unhappy! The other hairdressers are amazing as well! I might add that the prices are very reasonable, the salon is clean, and the environment is relaxing. I also must add that I rarely write reviews unless warranted!

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON IF YOU WANT A LASIO STRAIGHTENING TREATMENT. This is my hair only two and…read morehalf weeks after I got the treatment done. It is supposed to give 90% curl reduction and last for four months, and as you can see it is already frizzy and extremely curly. I spent so much money on this treatment and I expected it to last much longer. While I did not buy the recommended shampoo and conditioner that goes with the treatment, Teri told me I could use other shampoo and conditioner as long as they do not have certain interactive ingredients so I made sure to do that. Keep in mind, I have gotten this treatment four times in the past and used that same shampoo and conditioner and been completely fine and had it last for months. I tried to reach out to come to a resolution and I felt dismissed and talked down to by Teri. Very disappointing experience both with my hair and with the customer service.

Jila was an expert at blowing out hair as well. At the end she also cleaned up the cut to make sure that it was not too heavy in certain areas and that the split ends were gone. For reference, I have thick and dense hair. My hair was all in one length, and I was asking for a trim to remove split ends and a layered style. Also, I am Asian. I was drawn to this salon, because other reviews stated that they ventured to a non-Asian stylist to cut their hair and it looked good here. I can confirm that this is true.
