I gave this place a 2 star only because I got my hair done last Tuesday. I've gotten my hair done…read morethere once before and the lady did a fantastic job. This time I wasn't pleased AT ALL. I came in to get my brown hair to platinum... The lady who did it had an attitude about what I wanted which made me uncomfortable. I specifically told her I wanted my hair extremely blonde almost white. So throughout the hair process I was just praying the end result will be amazing, but paying $120 for my hair to be platinum, i came out with dirty blonde highlights and i'm not happy at all with it. I'm just extremely disappointed and now i'm going to be doing my own hair the way I wanted it from the beginning.

Came here after my previous stylist retired. The staff was always friendly, so never had any issues…read morethere, but..... My previous stylist wrote out my formula which I provided to the stylist at Roots during a consultation where I was assured that they could keep my hair consistent with what my previous stylist had done. Despite the fact that they had the formula, they took (what i percieved to be) short cuts to get me in and out faster (I have a fashion color and while I know its time consuming to do it right, I'm paying upwards of $200 to come to you, if you don't want to take the time to do what the formula is explicitly explaining for you to do, then cool, let me know that and we'll part ways on good terms). I gave them chance after chance to get it right but it became clear it wasn't going to happen. At one point a darker color was put on my roots without okaying it with me first (i absolutely did not want that), another time my roots were made even lighter than the rest of my hair, effectively giving me hot roots. I eventually gave up and went to a new stylist/salon, gave her the same formula from my original stylist and my hair came out like it always used to before going to Roots. I'm more than willing to work with a stylist to fine tune things but it was clear that they either didn't understand how to work with the color or were just set on taking short cuts to save on time, which is fine, but then the service is not going to be worth the amount of money your asking me to pay.

I used to get my hair, lashes, waxing, and facials done here about 5 years ago. Since then, staff…read morehad changed, and the management left much to be desired. I found other places to have my needs met for a more reasonable price, and with better customer service. When I decided I wanted to dive into having my lashes done again, I got ahold of the staff here at Indulge. I work at the hospital across the street so it was convenient to schedule there. I wanted to give them another try since it had been half a decade. I was hoping for a better experience. First off- Jen was AMAZING! Meticulous with her lash application. Her presence was relaxing and calming. I had an amazing time. I was able to come back for a fill two and a half weeks later and she once again took amazing care of me. Then the governor ordered all non-essential businesses to shut down due to COVID-19. I was sad to have to miss my next fill, but hopeful that the owner would honor the fact that I had already had my lashes done-despite the likelihood that most would be gone by my next fill after this all blows over. I reached out to Indulge on Facebook, and was appalled at the response I got. Stating that they would charge for a full set ($250) and not a fill ($75) when I next came in because the closure wasn't their fault. Missing a fill wasn't my fault either, yet I would have to shell out that much money again?! Not a great way to keep customers. My experience with the ladies employed here has always been top notch-but the way the owner is handling her business leaves much to be desired. She's the reason I originally stopped coming in 5 years ago, and once again she is the reason I will not be returning after things go back to normal.
