Good luck finding someone else on such short notice. We were so shocked as we were very cordial all along. Please be kind to yourself and choose someone that will be professional and reliable instead

I found Naty via a post I did looking for a MUA on a women's group. Tbh, I've dealt with my fair…read moreshare of flakey MUA so I was completely blown away when she showed up ON TIME. No but seriously, not only is she ridiculously talented; she's a professional through & through. I hired her at the last minute back in April for a music festival (the thought of doing mine &my sister's makeup for day 2 was more than I could bear) & she took my ideas/suggestions & totally ran with it. Naturally I booked her right after that for the iii points festival in October. I wanted her for both days b/c eff that, it was so much easier to just sit back & let her take care of us. Plus, let's be honest: lugging ALL your makeup on staycay is a pain in the ass. Cut to a few weeks ago: the forecast for the entire weekend of iii points was scattered thunderstorms &, as luck would have it, they decided to do the festival outside this year: F U N, right ?!! I was so worried that our hair & makeup was gonna get destroyed. There was ONE single stage that was actually "indoors" so we had some kind of cover. Halfway thru the 1st nite, it started pouring & we were alll the way on the other side of the festival ... aka far away from the one covered area. We put on these flimsy, cheap ass ponchos we brought with us & ran. I literally had rain running down my face & I was getting soaked thru the damn poncho. In my head, I was imagining my face streaked with makeup. Once we were out of the rain I asked my sister for a hair & makeup update: she was like 'you look pristine, not a hair or eyelash out of place'. BRO. My hair & makeup did not budge THE.ENTIRE.NITE.!!!!! We got back to the telly at 4am & I looked just as good as when we left at 8pm. I love supporting local entrepreneurs & especially young ones that are carving out a name for themselves. What makes Naty so special (besides her raw talent) is that she's poised, patient, precise, creative, & professional. She listens to you, but makes gentle suggestions to steer you in the right creative direction. I have loved collaborating with her on our looks & she never disappoints. I can't wait to for the next event ...

What made this even worse was the owner's response afterward, which included claims that directly contradicted my appointment confirmation and what actually happened. I had screenshots proving I was booked with Boris from the beginning. They were rude and unwelcoming and was arguing with me because they posted pricing then told me when I got there and he was already performing the service that it would be triple what was advertised!!! This place is a scam!! The lack of accountability and the way this was handled afterward was incredibly unprofessional. I would not return and would strongly caution others before booking here.

Absolutely Loved My Experience at Blo Miami!…read more I honestly don't understand why this location has such a low rating because I had two wonderful experiences in the same week and met two amazing people along the way! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. My hair came out big, bold, bouncy, and absolutely gorgeous--exactly what I was hoping for. Julio and Jres instantly became my favorite people there! They were both wonderful, personable, and genuinely made my visits such a great experience. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this location. On my first visit, I had a wash and blow-dry, and I loved the result. They also introduced me to an amazing product called Money by WOW, which I definitely recommend trying. I came back later that same week for the Wash & Cocktail, and this was such a treat. I chose the hydration option, which included a scalp treatment and head massage. Honestly... it sounds like a dream because it WAS a dream! I could use one of those right now lol If you're in Miami and want to leave feeling pampered with gorgeous hair, I definitely recommend giving Blo Miami at Miami Worldcenter a try. Don't let the one-star reviews scare you away because I had the complete opposite experience!

Two days later I come back for the same look. High pony tail. Also note I come with my hair already in the pony tail and slick back ready to be braided. This time I didn't have the extra elastic in it and she ended up charging me $70 plus tip. For a $12 braid. I was going to come back here but never again. Will upload on tik tok my full terrible experience and the exploitation people do here in miami. I will not be back to this place and this is complete fraud. Very disappointed.
