I know what a service is supposed to look like, and this was not it. I came in for a pedicure and a hard gel fill. The pedicurist, Francys, tried to shortchange me from the moment I sat down, claiming the basic pedicure only included cut, shape, and file, even though the menu clearly advertises a massage, hot towels, and a foot scrub. When I called her out, she admitted the "massage" was a pathetic 30 seconds per foot. While scrubbing my feet she scraped up the skin on the bottoms of my feet, leaving them raw, and she cut my cuticles so carelessly that they were bleeding. Then she butchered the French pedicure I asked for. Streaky, uneven, crooked lines, thick in some spots and thin in others. Amateur, careless work. Then I moved to the manicurist, Rut, for my hard gel fill, quoted upfront at $55. After she finished, she casually dropped that cutting cuticles was an extra charge, as if basic cuticle care isn't standard on any fill. At that point I asked to speak to a manager, expecting someone to actually address what had happened. Instead, the manager did absolutely nothing. No accountability, no apology, no attempt to fix the pricing or the botched work. Just stood there while I was overcharged and brushed off like my complaint didn't matter. At checkout they nickel-and-dimed me for everything: cuticles, shaping, gel polish, French tips, all tacked on separately from the $55 I was quoted. So what was the $55 even for? Nothing, apparently. Charging extra for gel polish on top of charging extra for French is nothing short of price gouging, and having a manager who won't lift a finger to make it right makes it worse. I left having paid $160 for a pedicure and a fill at a salon that isn't upscale, isn't clean, and clearly doesn't train or hold its staff accountable. Bleeding cuticles, scraped-up feet, hidden charges, and a manager who couldn't be bothered to care. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do not waste your time or money here.

The salon doesn't feel welcoming, especially when the techs seem annoyed and don't pay as much attention to detail as I have become accustomed to with my last long-term tech. My nails always break as well and retention isn't great - I had to come back in to get a nail fixed for each set (for which they charge $7) and since my last nail fix on my current set, three more nails have broken.
