When I met Zondra, I had very dry, straight, box-colored hair with lots of grays growing in. She is a great listener, was receptive to what I expressed I wanted, and we worked together to come up with a beautiful plan for balayage (first time I've ever done anything beyond a single color to my hair). She took care of my color and cut in exactly 3 hours, which was 2 hours shorter than the original quoted time. Such a relief!! She guided me in selecting the appropriate hair products to bring my hair back to health. Zondra was kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and a pleasure to have work on my hair. She is the first stylist whose post-hair appt advice I am fully following. I will definitely be back to maintain the balayage or try something new!

I left the salon with too much product weighing down my hair, no volume and half curled hair. It was so bad it was laughable. I initially told my stylist that I have trouble holding volume in my hair and would most likely need rollers. She seemed to struggle with my hair (lots of hair but fine so it gets weighed down) and added too much product making it fall even more. Overall she was blowing out my hair for a while then left the rollers in for a short period that definitely wasn't long enough to impart volume. This was all followed up by using a curling iron on a few pieces of hair. I felt like a more seasoned hair stylist may have approached the task with a different technique and didn't feel confident in the stylists ability. This is in no means a reflection on the salons customer service as everyone was very nice. Would not come back and regret spending the money on this service.

I arrive and she is rearranging her loft so we wait 45 min while she does this......she finally comes and gets us.......and while my girl is in the chair, I offer to help her re-stock her shelves...because we are "friends". Then some one comes in and needed a full color, cut blowout. WTF? So my daughter at the end 1) didn't get a hair cut 2) did not receive the color she wanted 3) did not get a blow out. but guess what? I PAID in advance for the haircut...... April then cancelled two, yes two, subsequent appointments and did so via TEXT MESSAGE, so there we are, paid hair cut that never happened....no color correction,and now I have to reschedule the whole appt for my girl's dance. VERY unprofessional...... Well, she obviously all of a sudden had her friends post good reviews to offset mine....earlier today she said she would refund the haircut, but since I called her unprofessional she will not. Also if I don't take down a bad review she will not correct the color of my daughter's hair.....I can show the messages she has sent via yelp to prove it.....all in all, my daughter did not receive a service and she will not refund me....and she will not color correct her hair unless I take the negative review down. Also she said to me once that if you don't tip 30%,then you aren't a true client.... Oh, and she has reviewed her own hair salon! Imagine that!
