Membership for $200/month gets you 4 blowouts…read more So my hair always looks fresh from the salon, total steal. It is hard to get in, you have to schedule ahead of time on the website, unfortunately, you can't just walk-in (ever), and get a blow out (though they told me I could when I got the membership). I maintain homes in multiple states, so I never know when I'll be at my Carmel home, or another, and I fly by the seat of my pants. Usually decide the night before to come back to Carmel or go to NC or WA, so that was frustrating at first. Because the blowouts roll over, but then expire, and sometimes I'm not around for months at a time, but ya know, just making it work, 1st world problems.

Her honesty and professionalism was 10/10 and so graceful. She was sensitive to my friend's situation and didn't make her feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. In a world where so many people focus on what they need or how we can benefit them, Brittany truly put my friends needs first and made her feel important. Thank you!

During the shampoo, it felt like my hair was only lightly washed rather than thoroughly cleansed…read more There was very little scalp massage or attention to my scalp, and my hair did not feel fully washed when I left the chair. I also felt that my styling preferences were not reflected in the final result. We discussed the look I was hoping to achieve, including wanting soft, loose curls rather than tighter curls. However, the finished style looked very similar to how my hair looked when I arrived, and when it was curled, the curls were much tighter than I had requested. I had a major event to attend afterward and was so unhappy with the result that I went home, washed my hair, and restyled it myself before leaving. That was stressful and disappointing, especially after investing the time and money in a professional service. I understand that not every stylist is the right fit for every client, but I wanted to provide this feedback because I left feeling that my preferences were not heard and that the service did not meet my expectations. I hope this feedback is helpful and can be used to improve future client experiences.

My only bummer is that each time that I left, it seemed like I still needed to do something to my hair to get it to the finished look (comb it out, tease it, pin it back, etc). I really like a blowout because you usually leave feeling ready to go anywhere, but each time here hasn't quite been that experience. That said though, the stylists I've had have all been so sweet and kind! Will still be back

I called her and left a voicemail, and she called back and left a voicemail a day later. I called her back a couple days after that and left another voicemail... and didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I had to try 3 more times to finally get a hole of her. Normally by that point I would have given up but I paid for the gift certificate and didn't want to lose it. When I made it to the salon for my finally-schedueled appointment, it was very nice. I wasn't greeted super promptly but within a couple minutes, and I was offeredf a glass of water, wine, or beer. i took the wine (of course). My stylist was running about 10 minutes late but no one bothered to tell me. What saved this review is the awesome job that Rachel did on my hair. It really looks beautiful. Perfectly placed highlights and nice long layers with lots of movement and bounce. The styling lasted all day as well. Each stylist sets their own prices as well, so I don't know what's normal there as far as prices, hours, and services offers. My total was $130 for the highlights and cut, then the $50 off. For the qualiy of the work I think it was a fair price. I may or may not go back depending on how hard it is to get a hold of her again!

She listened to everything I said and delivered on my color, cut & style. (see my opinion of The Loft Salon listed) I came to the table with a picture, another possible cut, description of the color I wanted, and explanations of positive and negative cuts I've had before. You can't expect to really get what you want if you don't communicate properly. We started with that conversation which wasn't rushed & she answered my questions honestly when I asked her for advise. We visited a lot during my appointment sharing about our families etc., but I'm sure she would be just fine if you just wanted to sit quietly or read a magazine. During that visit time, I stopped her & asked a question pertaining to my hair or she did the same with me. Sometimes when stylists visit too much with customers they forget about the hair cut & why they are there! Not so here. --no pretense here, just loves her job & wants to please you with her work! I think I've got a new stylist. Why not 5 stars, only because I've only had 1 visit so far!
