It is hard to get in, you have to schedule ahead of time on the website, unfortunately, you can't just walk-in (ever), and get a blow out (though they told me I could when I got the membership). I maintain homes in multiple states, so I never know when I'll be at my Carmel home, or another, and I fly by the seat of my pants. Usually decide the night before to come back to Carmel or go to NC or WA, so that was frustrating at first. Because the blowouts roll over, but then expire, and sometimes I'm not around for months at a time, but ya know, just making it work, 1st world problems.

I booked a curly cut with Madison earlier this year and let her know when I arrive that one side of…read moremy hair is longer than the other due to some breakage from a previous bleach treatment. Everything was going well till after the shampooing, she had me under the drier for over 30 minutes while I'm not sure if she left or was working with another client, I was just sat there. Then when she came back she seemed like she was in a rush to get somewhere and this was during my cut. I felt as though she didn't follow any shape or structure and was just cutting which led to her cut tooo much off. The whole cut lasted about 10 minutes and I didn't bring anything because the hair was already cut and nothing could be undone but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waiting till I got home to look at the cut properly and style my hair. I've uploaded a photo of my hair a few days before and how it looked after I got home (second picture). As you can see, the right side of my hair is extremely choppy and uneven, there's no proper shape to it and looks worse than before. My guess is she cut nearly 5 inches of hair. My review is late because after trying to get over this horrible cut by Madison, I waited a few months to let my hair grow out and I recently just got it straightened for the time and now seeing straight it was much worse. She genuinely ruined the shape of hair and my current stylist had to cut off a lot more hair than necessary to mitigate the choppiness she created. I understand the curly cut is intended to look good when the hair is curly but there's no reason for my hair to have 3 inches of difference between two sides. I'm very sensitive when it comes to my hair and I've experienced bad stylists in the past and told Madison about this and it just sucks to have hair growth get ruined by a stylist for no valid reason.

I called her and left a voicemail, and she called back and left a voicemail a day later. I called her back a couple days after that and left another voicemail... and didn't hear back for 2 weeks. I had to try 3 more times to finally get a hole of her. Normally by that point I would have given up but I paid for the gift certificate and didn't want to lose it. When I made it to the salon for my finally-schedueled appointment, it was very nice. I wasn't greeted super promptly but within a couple minutes, and I was offeredf a glass of water, wine, or beer. i took the wine (of course). My stylist was running about 10 minutes late but no one bothered to tell me. What saved this review is the awesome job that Rachel did on my hair. It really looks beautiful. Perfectly placed highlights and nice long layers with lots of movement and bounce. The styling lasted all day as well. Each stylist sets their own prices as well, so I don't know what's normal there as far as prices, hours, and services offers. My total was $130 for the highlights and cut, then the $50 off. For the qualiy of the work I think it was a fair price. I may or may not go back depending on how hard it is to get a hold of her again!

Not only did she take the time to inquire and discuss what I wanted, she studied a picture I provided intensely! She was complimentary of the cut that my former hairdresser did, and asked several questions. Then she began cutting, and before my eyes developed my old haircut! All of the stylist seem to be doing shampoos and color which all looked awesome, but if the volume at the bowl would have been quieter while I was in my chair, I would have been more relaxed.
