I requested to leave enough hair for a ponytail, just wanted my ends trimmed but was left with barely shoulder length hair and choppy uneven layers. I had hair to my shoulder blades before. The stylist wanted to thin my thick hair with special shears and I said no but she did it anyway. Color was excellent but I am horrified and embarrassed by my cut. I called to complain and they put me on hold for a long time so I hung up. It's going to take at least a year to grow my hair out.

The spa pedi wasn't too bad but the painting of my nails is worse than what i could do myself. The tech also kept turning my massage chair to different settings then finally turned it off when she was painting my toenails and they still turned out this bad. The spa mani was the most disappointing as I told her i was looking forward to the hand massage since my hands have been hurting recently. She completely skipped over any hand massage and dipped my hands in wax and put what looked like oven mitts over top of them. The tech did change colors on me as well which didn't matter to me but might annoy another person as my fingers didn't match my toes then.

I came to Head Space and had my hair cut by Autumn and it is probably the best hair cut I have ever had!! The prices are a lot more reasonable than most salons in the North Hills, but the quality is a lot better! Autumn was as friendly as could be and really took her time. After she dried it she trimmed it up a bit more to a length and style I was comfortable with. I did not feel rushed and she did not push any products on me which I appreciated. I will be recommending her and this salon to everyone!

I thoroughly explained what I wanted and did not want regarding my cut, it was not a big deal, couple of inches shorter was what I wanted. Stylist said she'd take a little off at a time and see if I wanted more off. Weird. After almost 1.5 hours, I told her the back was longer than the front (which was what I did not want), but she said that it would take too long to make it even. In her words, "it's no big deal."
