I went to Head Space for gray blending and was given an appointment with Jason. Not knowing him I…read morewas uncertain what to expect but he worked a miracle and I love the results! In 2 1/2 hours I went from brown with gray roots to a blonde-gray with a great cut too! Highly recommend Jason.

I'd been to this salon three to four times in the past and had my hair cut and colored by owner…read moreJimmy. I stopped going there because he was too expensive. The color I loved. The cuts were okay. After finally getting a raise at work and not having gotten my hair done in months due to Covid 19 shutting down all salons, I was desperate to get my hair done. I've been a platinum blond for over 20 years and had no intentions of not being one anymore. I ended up making an appointment with Brittany who could fit me in sooner than owner Jimmy. The girl who made the appointment said Brittany was good with blonds and recommended her. Having walked in with platinum hair, but large roots, I made it VERY clear that I wanted a very light blond color. Bright, light blond. I said no yellow and no orange. After getting home, taking my mask off and getting a good look in my bathroom mirror I was beyond shocked. I wasn't blond at all!! My hair was brown. And an ugly brown at that. I called immediately and asked the girl to please have Jimmy call me as soon as he could. I was in tears when I told the receptionist that my hair wasn't blond at all and looked brown. The owner Jimmy called back hours later and had a nasty attitude from the start. He refused to fix it or even let me come in so he could look at it. I was speechless. Then he told me to find another salon. He added that he saw it while I was there and it looked 'damn blond' to him. He then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because my roots were huge (All salons were shut down for months due to Covid 19, so that was certainly out of my control). Then he told me to wash it a bunch of times over the next week and it would lighten up. Jimmy even said that I 'always had a problem' and complained about his coloring of my hair in the past. That was a complete lie. I never complained to him about a service. I had ALWAYS been super nice and cool when I had gone there and always tipped 30%. I even bought products there instead of going 100 feet up the street to Ulta and using a coupon for the same stuff. Jimmy had every excuse in the book to avoid accepting responsibility for what his stylist did. He even went as far to say that he and Brittany were the two best stylists in the city and Headspace was the best salon in the city. I took pictures of the mess Brittany created and sent them to the owner of another salon I know. Unfortunately, her salon was still closed or else I would have gone to her from the start. She agreed that my hair was not blond at all. She called it bronze. She advised me to file a dispute with my credit card since he refused to fix it. I filed the dispute and lost because the charge was found to be valid and PNC is powerless to continue to fight the salon because it's a 'quality' of service issue. They advised to file against the salon in small claims court. So the salon gets to keep $300 for a sloppy cut and orange brown color. Stay away from this salon. Any owner that is so cocky to talk to a client like they're garbage and refuse to fix a clients hair is not worth people's hard earned money. He can keep the $300. He obviously needs it more than I do. If you're looking for a great salon with a talented stylist, go to Lavish and ask for Amanda. She is the owner and fixed my hair the best she could do with out causing more damage to my hair. She said getting me back to platinum will take time to protect the integrity of my hair which I understand and appreciate She was incredibly cool and understanding and did a beautiful job. Update - It's a waste of my time to respond to the litany of excuses posted by owner. The pictures speak for themselves. Save your money an go elsewhere.

So thankful to have discovered Fringe Beauty Lounge for hair care and my new home for amazing cuts…read more The whole team is fantastic, and I cannot say enough about how wonderfully Meghan debulks my mega thick hair for absolute easy peasy everyday care. The appointment always feels like a sweet treat in my schedule. I highly recommend Fringe for anyone seeking a quality high end experience that also doesn't bust the bank.

We have been customers since 2016 and took our boys for a hair cut recently and were treated…read moreespecially poorly. Two girls cut my boys' hair. Venessa did my 7 year olds hair and it took her over 1 hour and gave him a bowl cut. The back of his hair is uneven, the sides are not cleaned, and the front is cut unevenly. The other girl cut my 5 year olds hair and the back is also uneven and uncleaned. Around the ears was not shaped or cut properly. The top and front is uneven and a mess. Upon returning home, my husband sent a message stating his disappointment. 2 days later, the owner (Amy) called my husband and took zero responsibility over our unhappiness. Instead, Amy said the following: "Kids are hard to cut" "We cuts kids hair as a courtesy to clients" "Your kids could not stop moving and made it difficult to cut" "Their iPads were too loud and my clients were complaining" "Your wife was late which is another issue" I asked repeatedly if the iPads were an issue and I kept the volume low. I also held my kids heads after 1/2 hour when she kept clipping his ears with scissors and he got tired after sitting still for 30mins and they they still couldn't finish Fringe - you lost clients. You were so rude and an unapologetic or caring on what the customer was concerned about. Could have been handled better. I've never been told in my entire life that a service I paid for was a "courtesy". What business owner would take cash from clients and treat us like they did us a favor afterward? Spent $60 for hair cuts and $18 in tip. Nice to be told it's our fault and take zero responsibility, or even offer anything resembling some type of apology. On a side note one of our friends who we had recommended to fringe also mentioned it took 3 hours for a haircut as well with the same girl and left with uneven hair and was unhappy. We will be sure to tell all those we referred not to bother returning.
