Yesterday, I revisited a hair stylist whom I found in 2020 when we relocated from Los Angeles to the Pittsburgh PA area. She took care of my COVID long hair until a few weeks ago, when the hot, humid summer convinced me to chop it off. The cut did not turn out well, no matter how I tried to style it. Yesterday, she gave me the cut I had hoped for and refused payment. I was impressed and want to publicly thank Meg at Stylin' With Sherri in Zelienople, PA for her gracious professionalism. Love love love this place! Family owned business. I'm not picky about who does my hair, anyone you get there is very good. I personally mostly see Megan, who is such a sweetheart. Holly is a superb hair dresser! I have been here twice. The first time I came in I had a bit of a hair repair disaster, wherein I needed to even out the bad "box" color job I did myself! Holly listened to my desire for correction, assessed the situation, and skillfully applied her expertise to create beautiful all over high & low-lights using the foil method. She also understood my type of naturally curly hair and gave me a nice little trim. Holly is an excellent colorist, and the hair cuts have been appropriate. Not only does Holly have a special talent working with hair, but her listening and communication skills make her exceptional in her craft. The price was very reasonable! Color & trim for $85. While I cannot speak to the skill of the other beauticians in the salon, I noticed it was busy both times I was there, with apparent satisfied repeat customers. The salon itself is small, well decorated, provides coffee for it's clients, and is easy to find in the middle of Main street in this quaint little town. read more

This was my first experience here and probably will not return. I have had more bad hair cuts lately than good. I've had the same hair style for years and I know when it's a good cut and when it's not. I left with all kinds of pieces sticking up in the back and it was uneven on the sides. It drove me crazy for a few days before going elsewhere to get it fixed. The stylist didn't speak the entire time that I was in the chair and wasn't very personable. read more
