She is a sweetheart and I love the decor and the stylish clothes she keeps and I always buy! I love sending people to her that live in this area ! I love watching local business grow!!!

I was very displeased! I went there for the first time based on their reviews and when I got the I…read morewas 10 min ns late to my appt so the person I originally was scheduled with couldn't see me anymore and asked Sandy if she could take me. Again. Never been there before. I asked for a trim and to dye my roots bc grey was showing through and which we discussed about. She talked about lightening the hair a little to blend better and proceeded to start to dye my hair. I then was placed under a dryer to which I thought was normal because normally I dye my roots at home from a box and decided to treat myself so I didn't know the protocol. Regardless when she removed the towel, my hair was a mustard yellow and not just my roots the 1/2 of my crown. My hair is a dark brown , and now a mustard. I was in shock and I'm normally not a vocal person and I maintained composure bc at this point still entrusting she knew what she was doing. She started to say let's dry it and if you dont have time and don't mind waiting tomorrow for the color I can darken the roots. My face said it all and she was like I mix up a darker brown to tone it down. I know it was after 5 by this point and I had to get to my kids daycare soon she put in the dye and I sat again. At the end of this season she blow dried my hair and made statements to like omg look at all the pretty colors and you have a few shades in there it turned out really nice. At this point I had 5 mins to get to my kids school and grab them. I thanked her for the time. Paid and left still unsure what happened bc this was my 1st coloring session supposedly only on my roots and I left looking like Tony the tiger. My hair started to break bc it had fried, I have patches of color in my hair and I'm scared to just put a box of one solid but it's so damaged I went back the next day bc she told me she would be there. And I called from my phone in their shop to her phone went straight to vm. I left a polite message asking her to please call me back so we can fix it darken it something. NEVER DID I GET A CALL BACK. NO TEXT NO CALL NOTHING. One of the other ladies there happened to ask if I reached her and I said no only VM. She said was everything ok. I told her shyly how I want pleased w my hair its , and the other stylist openly said " orange" , and I said yes and I dont understand how. Then the other stylist said she could fix it with low light for an additional amount. I already paid 120 for supposedly a trim that was way shorter then I asked and orange hair. I'm just upset I still have multicolored hair and I battled writing this but multiple people have said it needs to be told. Also I did tell her I wanted her to trim my daughters hair on the vm so shed call me back, and I think she knows she messed up bc she never did reach out. And one more clarification she asked if I had long layers bc I had a "v" in my hair i said yes and I'd like to keep that and she cut straight across. Idk I'll stick with my 9.99 box from now on. But honestly a call, a gesture of concern something if she valued her client or they as a business upholding their name .

Salon Warning!!!…read more Do not go to Papillon salon in Conroe. Took my 10 year girl to get a haircut & to say that they butchered her hair is being kind with my words. B is so depressed about her hair & the fact that she may have to have a short hair cut in order to fix it, which she's does not want. She tried wearing a hat to cover it up & even a messy bun because she's so embarrassed, she should not feel embarrassed from a so called professional stylist!!! The owner of the salon, Keri Storie, would not offer a refund because she guarantees her stylist work. GUARANTEES????? Really?!?! I no longer have faith in her salon or the stylist professionals she chose to represent her salon. So I will have to pay another stylist to fix her hair. I am so very disappointed in Keri and her salon & so called professional stylist. She also had the audacity to imply that my daughter must have had her cut by friends at school, bc surely her stylist could not have done that job ...that's admission that it was bad!!I took the picture that same day as the haircut when we got home, this provides a clear picture of her integrity & character to blame my child or someone else for the cut...seriously, what can of person does that?!?! Do not go to Lauren or Papillon salon!!

Exquisite Reflections - You pick the look! Bride and Mother of the Bride

Exquisite Reflections

I got married a year ago, and since it is wedding season again, I figured I would write this review…read moreto warn other brides of what happened to me so they do not have to go thru what I went thru. I got married at Ashelynn Manor, and Exquisite Reflections is one of their preferred vendors, they even offer complimentary services and exclusive packages thru them. Sounds great right? NOPE. So I'm an out of town bride, and we flew down to Texas to go to Ashelynn Manors open house to meet the vendors after booking them as our venue. The work done by the Exquisite staff looked beautiful(I'll give them that!) and the promise of the package was alluring, so I plopped down the down payment right then and there, about 150 or so dollars. My wedding date was a long time out, so I figured I could have enough time to consult over the phone or email, etc. Well, the only communication from that point went like this: I got a email reminder for a trial, which I booked the week of my wedding because again, I'm from out of town. I contacted the owner a few months before my wedding to get the contract, ask questions, etc and that was like pulling teeth. She finally sent me the contract 1 month before my wedding which I had to physically print out, fill out, scan, and send back (I emailed it because it would've taken too long thru regular post) I tried to get her to message me back about where and how to put my finished payments in, as the contract threatens to charge more money if it wasn't signed a month before the wedding date. I waited a week to hear back and NOTHING. 3 weeks before my wedding across the country and she couldn't even bother to get the contract finished and send me my end quote. Finally I got furious and told her to forget it, that she was making me very stressed and uncomfortable with her lack of response and that I no longer wanted her services. She finally messaged me back a couple days later and apologized, she had just had a baby, was super busy, and usually tried so hard to make her brides happy. (Ok? That's literally fine, but WHY agree to my date and take my deposit and put me thru this then??) Did not return or offer to return my deposit and that is the last I heard from her. Luckily I ended up finding a wonderful artist team in Houston who were actual professionals and got a contract done, signed, and paid for in 48 hours, all done virtually. Also, I'm not some kind of bridezilla Karen who needs all your time and attention, full transparency-I am a freelance bridal makeup artist and I could not even imagine treating a client the way the owner treated me, nonetheless keeping a deposit when I had no intention of performing a service for someone. My advice: don't put the deposit down at the open house, make sure you book the trial first and secure your date with the deposit, otherwise getting any response will be like nailing jello to a wall. They don't even have a working business number. Or just don't use them at all, unless you want to end up like me, scrambling 3 weeks before my wedding to get another artist and hair team. What an absolute nightmare. Also really suspect is that they specifically demand in the contract that you don't post negative reviews of the company until they have a chance to rectify the complaint, which if you're like me, will be never. All the other vendors at Ashelynn were fabulous...friendly and responsive...but I'd avoid this one.
