Darwin is truly a master of his craft, which is why I've been coming back for years. The shop consistently delivers an upscale, professional experience, from the seamless appointment process to the welcoming atmosphere and prompt service. Darwin's attention to detail is unmatched--my haircut is always exactly what I ask for, and he's always professional, personable, and accommodating. I recently tried the shop's new facial/skincare service, and it was exceptional. The combination of the cleanser, scrub, steam, moisturizers, and hot towels was incredibly relaxing, and my skin felt noticeably softer and refreshed afterward. A first-class shop with first-class service. I'll definitely be returning for both my haircuts and skincare treatments! read more

First time at Styl'd Studio. The place was cool and very chill. Got a fade and a little trim off the top. I was really satisfied with the end result. Even got complimented afterwards while running errands. Been looking for a dedicated barber in the AV and will definitely be coming back to this location. Thanks Darwin! read more

I'll start by saying I hate leaving 1 star reviews but after this haircut I'm going to have to get another haircut for my son to get his hair fixed.. I showed them a picture of what we wanted and it was cut way too short where the style doesn't work anymore. They also seemed to be giving lessons? Not sure if the people are new? Or don't have much experience? No matter how I try to style the hair it doesn't work. At the end they asked if it was ok and I said it's way shorter than we wanted and had them cut down the back as it didn't make sense with the top anymore. Once he was done I said it was fine to just leave, hair was ruined at that point and needs a whole new style. read more

When I tell you I have driven 2hrs to see Darwin and would gladly do it again, it is only a small price compared to the quality work he does. I lived in CO for several years and I made sure to visit him when in SoCal for visits. Trust his cut because he knows how to frame a face just right. If he recommends a different length or a little different style then LISTEN. He is a master of his craft. read more

Walked into this salon at 6:19 on a Saturday. I saw online that they closed at 7. I walked in and 3 women were just sitting in there chit chatting, so I ask if there was time for a haircut. The woman who I assume is the owner, stands up and says "ay ya yay, I'm closed" so I reply with I thought you close at 7 and she just looked at me. I walked out and the door said they closed at 7 and their open light was on. So I peeked back in and told her she might want to change the time on her door and turn of the open sign. Then she says "ok,ok come" at this point it was clear she did not want to touch my hair so I wasn't going to risk it with her sudden change of heart. Who knows what I would of ended up with. I will not return to this place again. read more
