I typically fill in my brows daily but decided to get them microbladed. Right as my appointment that I wanted like a month for was coming, I came down with covid and Katie was SO flexible and kind on rescheduling. She is clearly a boss so she books up pretty quickly so I had to wait another month for her services. She color matched my brows PERFECTLY and got the shape spot on. Like I said, I already had decent shape but she made them look so defined. I'm not going to lie the healing was quite annoying. You can't get them wet, sweat etc and with the Louisiana heat, it was very hard not to sweat. If I decide to do microblading again I am definitely going to get it done in the winter so I don't need to stress every time I go outside. The scary part about microblading is after the scabs fall off they lighten a lot & then darken back up. Katie eased my anxiety and they looked nice after the first session. I went back for my perfecting session 6 weeks later & they are just about healed now. The healing process was also a lot easier the second time around. I am happy with my results and would recommend Katie to anyone, especially redheads!

I liked her work, so I reached out on the website for an appointment. Response time was quick and Katie was really flexible in accommodating me (I contacted her for a next day appointment during probably the busiest time of year in New Orleans - Mardi Gras). She squeezed me in for the next day and gave me detailed address info so that I wouldn't have any problems finding the place. She even texted me the day of the appointment when an earlier appointment slot became available, which I happily took. When I got there, she got started with me right away (despite me interrupting her break because I was a little early, sorry Katie!). She was very gentle and I didn't experience any discomfort. When I finally was done and looked at my eyes, they weren't red or irritated, something I'd noticed in pics in reviews for other places. And, my lashes were BEAUTIFUL! I got a new full classic set. The whole process took about 2 hours and the lashes lasted for weeks. Katie did an amazing job, plus she's super sweet with awesome customer service. 100% recommend.

Here's what happened. I'm using tretinoin so I made an appointment to have my brows shaped using a tweezer, thinking this method would be best. I told the tech I stop using the medication 5 days prior to my appointment. She thanked me for the info so she could proceed with the best method. She then mapped my brows and applied wax. I was taken aback but wrongly thought she was doing the best method for retinoid use. That was a huge mistake. Not only did she butcher me brows, she took some of my skin with them. I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.
