What a great rig that came to pick up my bike. I never seen a truck setup with a rig like the gentleman had that came to grab my bike that was involved in an accident. He came and picked up my bike quickly, and was ready to go in less than 10 minutes. I could appreciate the care that was taken handling my bike, and getting it on the truck without issue. I see quite a few are talking about the lack of customer service here, and although the person that did the work was grumpy, and not exactly a "nice guy" that isn't what i was looking for when i called for their services. Yes its nice to have all that, but if i had to decide between a nice guy not handling my property with care, or a grump handling my property with experience i prefer the grump all day. My motorcycle journey started a month ago (July 2021) when I purchased a rare Indian from a store in Washington State. I hired a motorcycle hauling company to deliver it to my residence here in Las Vegas. Although that company is highly rated at delivering your bike safe, sound and professionally, they take forever to deliver. When my bike arrived to that company's Las Vegas distribution center you'd think it would be a quick delivery because I LIVE in Las Vegas. Not the case.l, but that's another story. Keep in mind the company I'm talking about is NOT Stu's towing, it was the shipping/hauling company. Anyhow, I kept calling the shipping company and they kept saying they had no ETA when they could deliver the bike. However, they did say I could come pick it up. Well I don't have a truck or a trailer, and it seemed like a pain in the rear to have to rent all that just to get my bike home. In comes Stu's Motorcycle Towing to the rescue! I went to the shipping company to inspect the bike and the representative I was working with said he had worked with Stu for almost 20 years and he's the best in the business. I called Stu and he said he'd be down to pick it up, and that I didn't even have to be there. I figured cool, I have plenty of time to get home. I even stopped to get gas in my car. Guess what? Stu was already at my house! He got the bike, got to my house an had it unloaded before I even got there! I felt bad and told him I was almost home so I remotely opened my garage and by the time I turned the corner, Stu was moving it into my garage. Stu is a man of very few words, but he does his job exceptionally well. He told me to be safe out there and I told him I will keep his number if I ever need him again. He commented that obviously you DON'T want to have to call a motorcycle towing company all the time. LOL Stu's right, you of course would rather be riding your bike, then having it towed. This person followed me and proceeded to sideswipe me off the road. I passed him in traffic to avoid his reckless driving (while in his company car,he was texting and driving while thumbing through documents)with two motorcycles hitched on the back. He called me curse words and made threats when I simply passed him! Nothing more nothing less. He got so bad I had To call the police and speak to officers to document what was happenin and to make a complaint. After one of the officers googled the business that was on display on the side of his car, we saw someone else experienced the same thing. Coming from a household that has multiple Harley and Yamaha bikes I know how precious bikes are and I would never want my bike on the back of a car where their driver is bullying people on the roads and police have photos of your bike and plates because they are on his car. I broke down in Pahrump, called 3 other tow companies from google maps that had unreal prices, first place quoted me $600 TO TOW A MOTORCYCLE 28 MILES!!! Stu picked me up in less than 30 minutes and I think it was $60 for the pickup and $2 a mile afterwards. Great, friendly too. I have NEVER met someone so rude in my life. After confirming MULTIPLE times that my FIL's Harley was covered under his AAA, the man (who failed to give his name) refused to tow the bike without cash payment in full. Yet when we told him to go ahead and leave he also refused. After calling AAA AGAIN they told him it was covered and he had to. Needless to say he received NO TIP.
