Nice quiet campground. RVs are really close. Check in is weird. It took almost 15 mins to actually have a human help us out. Went to office. It was locked. Could hear people inside. Store seemed to be closed both days we tried to check it out. No hours on the door. Neighbor told us hours are posted in laundry room. Turns out they are closed Mon-Tues. Restrooms are clean. Like the individual lights in each shower. Showers have chipped paint. We will not be using them since we have a shower in our RV. Pool says open at noon. 1:45 today still locked. Still not sure where to find an employee if I need one. Adult only area you need to ask for key to get in. My dogs give four paws up for the dog park. Lots of "stuff" on the annuals sites. Kinda cluttered up. Dog at C-2 is annoying! When we used hot tub it was awesome! Huge! The game room is a nice spacious get away and has a nice sitting area. Vending machines for snacks and sodas. Reasonably priced. Change machine near by. Two very nice playgrounds for kiddos. All in all just average. I would stay here again. Would recommend it. Plenty for kids to do and the indoor pool is a huge bonus for cold or rainy days.

We went for a little Fall getaway with my husband and kid it was really pleasant . Most weekends they have activities we landed on BBQ cookout and music it was really good. Lots of people food and music very happy place. They have a POOL for kids and a heated pool for adults we felt bad that we didn't bring our bathing suits but I wet my feet just to enjoy the water a little bit A nice trail for hiking and a basketball court. I can't express enough how happy I was with my husband's choice for a mini vacation. Just one downside, WOOD is a hit or miss here due to outside storage could be wet could be dry and of course wet does not burn well. See you next year

The cottages themselves look really cute although we didn't go inside them. A lot of them are lakefront, which is lovely. If you haven't been here, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Yes you can stream but I had to use my phone hot spot several times. No pool, no tennis, no games, nothing. Oh they had a going away party for the old owners with fireworks. The WiFi was great and the owners were very kind and helpful! Spots looked a little tight but we got in fine. Only issue we ran into was with water - the plumbing they installed is insufficient for the amount of people using the water (too small of pipe size installed underground). Due to this, the water pressure disappears during busy times of day (mornings and evenings). If you turn on your pump to supplement the water and just remember to refill the tank before leaving, you'll be fine. Overall, a great spot for a safe place to sleep.

We called a total of 3 times about this spot since it was "cash only" and the 3rd time we were informed we wouldn't be able to stay due to the spot being occupied by the previous party who had yet to leave. We were set to arrive at 4pm and were 4 hours in to a 6 hour drive and were forced to pull over on the side of the road in the rain to attempt to find last minute reservations elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere with a little more security instead of someone who just changes their mind and doesn't have the decency to call and let people know ahead of time.

The folks who work at the KOA are SOOOO friendly and helpful. They greeted us when we arrived, gave us maps and codes to the bathroom/shower building, and hooked us up with wood and a small axe to cut it with! The Retro RV was absolutely charming. Based on other reviews, we came equipped with cleaning supplies. I think that the RV was sufficiently campground clean. There was no visible dirt, or stains anywhere and no off-putting odors. Nevertheless, we still cleaned the whole RV, especially the floor. I'm including this because I believe that the RV's sanitation would be adequate for most campers but you will have to invest a little elbow grease if you're a neat-freak like me. The RV had a pot and frying pan, plates, cups, utensils and really basic kitchen stuff. There was a cute little coffee pot, coffee and tea. There was a heater and an AC (or maybe it was a fan?), but we didn't use either during our trip the first weekend of October. The bed had vinyl padding that was in sections. We brought a queen sized mattress topper and cozy sleeping bags that fit perfectly over the vinyl and made it feel like home. I believe the vinyl padding would have been annoying to sleep on directly as it would have moved around and sagged in parts. Outside of the RV was a deck with a small table and chairs. We moved the chairs to the fire-pit and sat spent the bulk of our time sitting around it. We roasted hotdogs and marshmallows. I was especially delighted to discover that the RV had wifi! I hoped to write on my laptop sitting by the fire and the wifi sure helped a ton! Our favorite part of staying at this KOA was exploring Brattleboro. The town is incredible, quaint, hippie-ish and friendly. We loved the town so much that we were sold on the entire state of Vermont (this camping trip was our first time to the state). Conversely, the other campers at the campground seemed to be a bit more conservative for our taste. Compared to all of the rainbows in town our fellow campers had bumper stickers and flags that had less welcoming flair. It almost doesn't feel right to dock a star from this KOA because of the expressiveness of other campers, but I got the impression that this was the norm.

We did have very close neighbors, but only on one side. Other than those people, there were not really any sites close by. We could see them, but they were through the trees. It was one of the quietest campgrounds I have ever visited, which was awesome. The neighbors played a little music, but at such a low volume, I could not even tell you the genre. They turned it off the minute it got dark. The showers were great with lots of hot water and good water pressure. I have no idea what it would be like to actually stay at this park as a destination, but it was great as a stop on the way. My only complaint was that our campsite was pretty good sized, like it should easily hold 2-3 tents. We had one 6 person tent. There was no obvious good place for the tent. Where we pitched it, we were on a slight hill and there was a large root. The other option was extremely hard packed gravel and also a slight hill. Because we were just using sleeping pads, we did not like the idea of the packed gravel. I guess that is fine for a camper or if you are using a thicker mattress.
