The main building was empty except for a couple of employees selling tickets. I thought it could definitely use a refresh but we were not there for the lodge. We rode up 2 lifts to reach the top of Whitefish Mountain. There are two peaks you can take lifts up and we went to the higher peak for one if the longer hikes. Both lifts were easy to get on, getting off was a little sketchy as we had to quickly jump off and move several steps forward to avoid being hit by the lift. Thank goodness for the lift operator assisting people off the lift! I'm sure it's much easier to exit when skiing. The ride up was great. Such beautiful views! There is a small bar/restaurant at the top with amazing patio views and a restroom. We hiked down the Danny On Trail From the top. There are plenty of trail Markers so you cannot get lost. We did see a sign warning us of bear activity while hiking but we never actually saw any animal activity, not even a deer. A majority of the trail had beautiful views of Whitefish Lake. The lower part of the hiking trail was covered with dozens of people picking huckleberries so you just had to navigate around those groups. The hike took approximately 3 hours to reach the Alpine Slide area. You could ride the slide down or jump on the ski lift to go down. Whichever you purchased tickets to do. There are is also a separate trail for mountain bikers but we didn't cross those trails until closer to the Alpine slide area. We purchased tickets for the Alpine Slide so we jumped in line which went quickly. There are two slides to choose from. One slide is "fast" and the other is slower and more scenic. We chose the scenic as it was our first time on the slide. You can also choose the speed as you navigate down the slide. The slide drops you right off at the bottom of the resort so you can walk directly to the parking lot. I would definitely recommend the hiking and Alpine slide. It was very scenic and a wonderful experience.

It was a blizzard, late season, so we went to the bowling alley/bar/casino and laundromat across the street to wait. So we came back and quickly left with the equipment. The next day, up on the mountain! Beautiful day...then....THE MOUNTAIN CLOSED! Covid strikes again. Season OVER and its only March 15th. Disappointed indeed. BUT.......we were able to return our 10 day rental after our 1 day (out of 10) skiing was over without problems or penalties. Rent from them.

My first rental with them I lost a binding during one of my first two runs getting on a lift and hobbled over to them sheepishly as if I had done something wrong and was ready to get dinged or reprimanded, but they fixed it in an instant without hesitation or lecture and sent me back on my way. My second rental with them I returned the rental a half hour after they closed (100000% my bad) but since they were still at the shop finishing up, they allowed me to sneak in the board and boots. They could have been pricks about it, but weren't, so am thankful for that, as I was departing Whitefish the next day so would have had to work some magic to get the stuff back to them. They will also hold your shoes for you when doing a one-day rental (an important detail to remember when taking into account when they close!).

It was a spur of the moment trip five states and five days for Thanksgiving and by far the best part was Glacier National Park with Lori as a guide. Be careful if you decide to go on the east glacier tour. The Sun Road portion is the best part of the tour and is not included. You have to know about the Sun Road portion and have to pay quite a bit extra for it. Most of the other tours include the sun road. That is the reason why I can only give this a three star review.

We visited in mid‑June, and the Going‑to‑the‑Sun Road was still closed, so timing can definitely vary depending on the year. Even so, the scenery was gorgeous and the weather kept things interesting. It even hailed while we were there. The golf‑course view was beautiful, especially the greens -- we never got tired of looking out over them. We also used the pool table in the clubhouse a few times and never had to wait. Overall, a great stay with plenty of comforts and a stunning setting.

I started getting wind burn on my face and he took off his buff and let me borrow it for the entire 3 hours. He took the time to take pictures of us, talk to us about food/bars, was seriously accommodating to us and let us have a lot of fun. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time and we had 0 hiccups or accidents while out there. My toes were super cold by the 2nd hour and when we were done I went and sat in the car to warm them up. He took the time to come and ask my husband if I was okay and if I needed emergency warmers for my feet Even on the trails we passed the slower people and the tour guide didn't mind taking a joy ride. Not only are the people amazing, but the views are to die for! I so recommend this company, also amazing service by the lovely ladies in the office too, and the super cute pups We're here on our honeymoon and they really made us feel welcomed and not like tourists. The snowmobiles were all in great shape and our tour guides Brett and Kelsey were so patient and kind! They really made this trip memorable for all of us, including our kids. They built snowmen with them and even participated in a snowball fight! They were awesome and some really great people!
