I decided to surprise her. I called up Gary of Adirondack Stump Grinding after getting a super stamp of approval from one of my Aunt's long-time neighbors. Gary was amazing helping me coordinate the surprise once I returned to my current residence in Maryland-you can imagine it's hard to have a"secret" phone call when visiting a relative you haven't seen for so long! We discussed all of the details and how Gary would call her and let her know what they would do and it was all taken care of, they just needed a day/date for her to confirm. My Aunt was over the moon and was astonished what an amazing job Gary and Alteri Tree service did removing the trees and grinding the stumps. She is pretty particular about the appearance of her yard but lauded their work saying they could not have done a more beautiful job! And so quickly too! I only wish she knew how to text before/after photos! Next time I visit I'll have to show her how! Bob's has a big stock and variety of trees and plants of various sizes, and the tranquil location makes for a pleasant day trip for a walk amongst potted plants and dug-up trees ready to go. Their brochure is helpful for looking up and browsing an updated selection of available trees for listed prices, and staff have been consistently friendly and helpful, and not surprisingly, very knowledgeable.
