I recently visited my Aunt in Broadalbin for the first time in about 3 years. She had 8 tall pines she planted about 30 years ago (I remember seeing them that first year) were a hot mess from some kind of tree disease and all those years of road salting over the winters and she expressed her desire to have them removed next spring. I decided to surprise her. I called up Gary of Adirondack Stump Grinding after getting a super stamp of approval from one of my Aunt's long-time neighbors. Gary was amazing helping me coordinate the surprise once I returned to my current residence in Maryland-you can imagine it's hard to have a"secret" phone call when visiting a relative you haven't seen for so long! We discussed all of the details and how Gary would call her and let her know what they would do and it was all taken care of, they just needed a day/date for her to confirm. My Aunt was over the moon and was astonished what an amazing job Gary and Alteri Tree service did removing the trees and grinding the stumps. She is pretty particular about the appearance of her yard but lauded their work saying they could not have done a more beautiful job! And so quickly too! I only wish she knew how to text before/after photos! Next time I visit I'll have to show her how!
