Hello everyone,…read more This was my first appointment with Bellagio. I was recommended by my sister and she gave them a great review and hyped them up real bad; I was very excited to get my nails done here for the first time. I had an appointment scheduled for Sunday July 5 2026 at 1:45pm. Weeks prior, I did call and ask if they were going to be open, of course because of the 4th of July weekend and the young lady said yes we will be open. I also confirmed again and said, it's 4th of July weekend so y'all are open, and she still said yes. I left church that afternoon to make it to my appointment on time. When I arrived and parked, there was a hand written note on the front door on printer paper in black ink taped to it that said "We are closed today." I didn't get a phone call, text or email telling me they were closed at all. I was very disappointed and upset about this one, because I had an event to get to the next day. Two, because my sister said they were the best nail salon and did great work, and I was excited to experience it. Three, because I could have saved my time and gas money in a city I was not from. I ended up going to Palladium Nails in High Point, just maybe 2-3 minutes away and Emily hooked me up. One of the best pedicures I've ever had in my 32 years of life. I also got builder gel for the first time and it burned lol, but my nails turned out pretty. Now the color I chose and the one Emily chose were totally different colors, but I was still very pleased. Now I have found a new salon I love. Bellagio, I wish I could have had a great first experience with you, and I have a hard time trusting you again. Thank you for being kind on the phone.

I originally booked a sew-in for…read morethe summer, but something told me to switch it up and try knotless braids for the first time, and wow, what a decision. Christine made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. When my hair didn't arrive in time, she stepped in, provided the hair, and allowed me to take it home so I could do my ACV soak, blow dry, and come back fully prepared. That level of flexibility and professionalism immediately stood out to me. I paid a very reasonable $25 deposit to secure my appointment, arrived at 9 AM, and Christine worked with care, precision, and consistency for nearly 12 hours until every braid was complete. We went with Outre pre-stretched hair using 27 with 1B peekaboo underneath, and the final result is absolutely stunning. I had never tried peekaboo color before, and the dimension it created is beautiful. My sensitive scalp feels great, my edges are neat, and the length/fullness are everything I hoped for. Tonya stepped in at the end to shape and perfect the final look, and let me just say, between the two of them, it was pure Black Girl Magic. While I was there, I also watched Tonya transform another client's short style flawlessly, which made it clear this salon's talent goes far beyond braiding. Whether you need protective styling, cuts, silk presses, sew-ins, loc services, or nail care, this is truly a full-service beauty destination. What stood out just as much as the work was the atmosphere, peaceful, welcoming, relaxing, and full of great conversation. Complimentary drinks were offered, and the overall energy felt warm and inviting. And the pricing? Extremely fair for this level of quality and care. This wasn't just a salon appointment, it was an experience! The Nailery Hair Salon is one of High Point's best-kept secrets, and it deserves way more visibility. Don't sleep on this place. Book the appointment.

I decided on pedicures and I found this place after reading some reviews on Groupon. I called about a week in advance to make sure they could get us both in at the same time and Christine was extremely nice in the phone, even when I called 5 minutes later to change the day of my appointment. The building is quaint and unassuming on the outside. Inside are some very nice pedicure chairs and a few manicure stations. The vibe was great, very relaxing and fun. The pedicures were AMAZING. Christine knows exactly what she is doing and she won't let you walk out of there looking anything less than perfect! Even though it wasn't included in the package I bought, she gave my feet quite a bit of extra loving to get rid of the rough skin. No one goes above and beyond like that nowadays, I was very impressed and appreciative. Not only is she truly gifted at and passion about what she does, she's a genuinely wonderful human being. She talked to us the whole time like we were all friends! It was a refreshing change from the normal nail salon interactions I'm used to. Do yourself a favor, call and schedule an appointment! They have several services - manicures, pedicures, waxing, and lashes. They must also serve espresso because they have that set up behind the nail bar. (A small bottle of water would have been nice.) I don't know I they have type of points system for discounts with repeat visits. They don't have an over abundance of colors to choose from; only 2 pages of examples in 2 different books. Thank you Janette!
