I am sorry but 7000.00 for an engagement session and wedding is ridiculous. His deposit was 3500.00 which again in my opinion is a verging on insanity. But of course, we booked him despite my protests. The day of was a little warm. He showed up and gave us some good guidance and we tried several locations. We took over 500 photos, now I realize not all of those were going to be winners, but we were expecting about 20% of those to come back as finished photos. He took a little bit longer than expected but hey its art...you cant rush those things. We looked at the photos together and were completely crushed. We received less than 80 photos, of those there were more than 10 of which we were not in at all. Now im not speaking about the ones with the ring sitting on a mossy rock either. There were legitimately photos we were not in, that made it into the final cut. Additionally we now have another 3 photos of us walking away, but not in any sort of artsy way. It was as we were getting into place. I think there were 10 photos where the light shining through the trees left huge white orbs all over my face. Now I completely understand that he obviously took some shots that weren't great, hell I bet 80% of them weren't. But for a terrible to make its way to the final cut is inexcusable. Furthermore what little remained featured us at odd angels and completely off center. We brought our concerns up and he went back and fixed some of them. Now he did fix half of them, but for us to have to ask for him to make obvious corrections for a one hour engagement session......we lost all confidence that he could successfully shoot our wedding day and process all those photos without error. We unfortunately had to break contract with him, and not once did he attempt or offer to return any part of the 3.5k we had to pay him. Furthermore id also like to add from speaking with him and the amount of weddings he has shot versus his number of reviews, something doesn't add up. I seriously think he may have found a way to delete poor reviews. Because for someone with 4.95 out of 5 to conduct business as he did....I am personally shocked. We went with another photographer and he spent half the time with us for an additional engagement shoot and did such a phenomenal job. He was quick and very meticulous. He shot our wedding just last week actually, I cant wait to see the results.

We (bride and groom) are self-proclaimed 'awkward photo takers' and are not naturally adept at knowing how to pose for pictures. She was also amazing at getting our large families gathered into group photos with enough time to allow us to join our cocktail hour (not an easy feat!) It's a cool film store, yes. Slightly hard to find. Unfortunately they delivered my film a few…read moreweeks late as they had the wrong email on file. After calling them numerous times to update my email- they still couldn't spell it right! This meant I had to go into the store to actually get them to send the scans to the correct email, two weeks after due date and three phone calls later. The scans were fine, nothing to write home about. There were numerous scratch marks on the negs, degrading image quality. Despite all of this, the staff was rather accommodating and the $10 film and scan deals on Tuesday are fantastic. Couldn't be a more middle of the road film lab imo.

I was really looking forward to being a part of the wall of composites of all of my fellow students…read morethat I graduated with as well as the years before us. That is, until I was reviewing the portraits that I had to choose from. None of the images looked anything like me. Not only was I positioned very awkwardly but it made me look like I was much heavier than I am. The photos were embarrassing. When I expressed my concerns in an email to someone in the studio, she basically told me to either take it or leave it. I had the option to either pick an awful picture or not be a part of the composite with the rest of my class that I worked so hard to be a part of. I asked to have my pictures retaken or to choose an image of a different angle, but those options were also shot down. I expressed how badly I wanted to be a part of the composite but I could not choose an image that I was so unhappy with and still have not received a response. It has now been several weeks since my last email to the studio, at this point I am not sure if my photo that I paid to have in the composite will be a part of it or not. I was unable to purchase any additional photos to have for myself or to give to my family to remember such a monumental moment of graduating nursing school. However, I am glad that I didn't purchase additional photos because after seeing the edited images some of my friends have purchased. The photoshop work looks very unnatural. I have actually seen Snapchat filters deliver better and more natural looking images. Unfortunately, due to the lack of good quality photos and even worse customer service I could not recommend this studio to anyone. I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Customer satisfaction is last on this studios list of priorities.
