I arrived at her spa (its in her home, don't let this deter you) and it was beautifully decorated, clean, and very professional. Dana was warm and friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. We spent the most time making sure the shape and design of my eyebrows was right before starting. Dana listened to my preferences, but also used measurements to determine which brow shape would be best for my face. Dana was super professional and quick. The end result was amazing! I have lived my whole life with sparse eyebrows. Having to fill them in everyday. When I saw my face in the mirror I couldn't believe it looked like real hair was on my brows. She did such a fantastic job. I've been researching microblading professionals for years and I can promise you, you won't find someone as inexpensive and talented as Dana in the Montreal area. Contacted the artist Julien via Instagram and he was very responsive. Requires a deposit of CA $100…read moreto book. 3 of us were getting tattoos. Julien sat us down individually and designed the tats effortlessly. It was mind blowing. He then tatted each of us individually (only 1 person allowed upstairs in the tatting area). So we chilled downstairs near the cafe (it's so cool you can get something to drink while you wait). I had a matcha green tea with oat milk, was not good but I drank it. Anyway, I am IN LOVE with my tattoo and Julien did a PHENOMENAL JOB I'M BLOWN!! No after care instructions are given and though I'm not new to tattoos, I've never had the saniderm on after getting tattooed so some after care instructions would have been nice (we had to look up some instructions online). It's cash only so be prepared. They do have an ATM but you will be charged fees by your bank They didn't provide a receipt which was also lowkey annoying but I didn't argue it. It's an awkward situation but the piercer was new when I got my first piercing last month and I wanted someone this time with more experience. She was perfectly fine, I just wanted a more experienced piercer this time(especially since it's my nipple being pierced). She was great and very welcoming, there was just some complications with the piercing because she was new. (It's been a month, I'm sure she's great now and in the swing of things). I just wanted someone with more experience with this very personal piercing. A man who I believe that was the owner asked me why I didn't feel comfortable with this piercer, fair question on his end. But he started talking to me about this in the lobby lobby out loud in-front of everyone, even in-front of the employee who I didn't want to pierce me. It's a simple mistake but if you have someone to talk about and a discussion that's personal, don't do it in-front of everyone and the employees. I felt uncomfortable, especially when I felt like I was being talked down to by an older man when I was just trying to be a paying customer. I believe he realized his mistake abc we had pleasant conversations from there. Piercing went great with another piercer, just an uncomfortable situation for me.

I recently had my ribs does there by Chris (who is an absolute top bloke). This was the first rib tattoo i have ever gotten but Chris was great, really helped me through it all and would always check up to see if i was doing okay as it can be pretty tender getting inked in that area. 3 hours there felt like 30 minutes, super happy with my tattoo so thanks again Chris you're a legend ! I had never been to XS before, but I recently went in to check them out and was blown away. They were extremely kind, attentive and knowledgeable. Best service: -I did not wait long at all before I was approached by a staff member. -I was not treated like an idiot (I have no visible tattoos or original piercings), in my experience a lot of shops judge the customer at first glance. XS did not. They were informative, but not condescending. -The staff was honest and not afraid to work with each other to come to the best conclusion or answer to any question I asked. -They were clean/hygienic and committed to my safety and theirs. I was so comfortable, I had my nose pierced on the spot. I was comfortable, had trust and didn't really feel a thing. Nico, who pierced me was exceptional. I worked in retail most of my life and unfortunately, most people only feel the urge to write a review if they are displeased. However, I find it is equally important to write a review when you are very happy or impressed with the service received, because it should encourage the continuous good standard of service one provides.
