Everyone has their own style of doing stuff so you gotta try them all before you pick your favourite. I am a generous tipper to these girls because they always do a perfect job with my color or brazilian blowout. I don't like my hair to be needle straight so i personally ask them to bend a little on the final step of blowout and they always seem to get it right. They are even right about how long it will last on your hair, it largely depends on what shampoo you use too. It is better to research shampoos and conditioners on your own than asking these people because you are best reviewer of your hair all the time. I have tried It's a 10 shampoo and it worked wonders on my hair and retained Brazilian blowout treatment well for long. read more

I came into this salon for the first time over a month ago and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and I will forever be a repeating customer. I got my hair done by Niki and she did a fantastic job! I went from being a blonde with highlights and low lights, and with dark brown underneath to lavender. WOW! Chris Tanaka is not only great, he is the best! I have never encountered such a versatile hairstylist. He can do any cut, to perfect coloring (that is his specialty) to intricate updo's. I am always so impressed with his work, and he is also very personable and calming. He understands the anxiety most of us feel when coming in to get our hair done for the first time in a long time, or just for the first time ever in a new place. The rest of the salon has a nice ambiance, and I enjoyed staff and customers alike. Brooke does a great job on make-up too, if you needed it done for a special event. I've been getting my color done by Paula for the last 5 years. I love the friendly, upbeat atmosphere at Studio One. I can call and get an appointment when I need to. They are very accommodating. I live in Agoura Hills and think of them as my "local salon" but even if I had to drive miles away, I would consider them worth it! Paula has even come in on her day off to take care of me when I needed it. Paula has many years of experience and is an expert with color. They keep me beautiful! I've had my extensions for the last 7 years..I used 2 different people in the past at other salons it was always a mess and always an unpredictable price. I was referred to Danielle (The Hair Extension Specialist) and let me tell you about this business woman. She always has a smile on her face, always will accommodate you at any time. In the 5 years I've been coming to her..I have NEVER had an issue with the application of the hair. She uses top grade hair and I never experience knots or hair falling out. She applies the hair and you are able to brush the scalp. You need to wear it in a ponytail at night and take care of it like she says. You need to use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner too. I see her about every 4-6 weeks for a touch-up. Never once has she not been there or not been ready for me. And I must say, she is VERY affordable. She is eager and you can ultimately see she is a master at hair extensions! I would never use anyone else. I recently got married and I had 3 consultations outside of the salon. What I noticed is these girls only applied make-up but were not licensed. Studio One has a licensed make-up artist named Kristen. There is a big difference when you are hiring someone on your wedding day! LOL. Kristen on the other hand painted me and my bridesmaids like a portrait. She did a test-run on me 1st, just to discuss the look and colors we were trying to achieve. She uses her own make-up and lashes, but if you have a favorite color you can bring it. She also sends you off with make-up and cheek color for touch-ups during the day. She listens and is very focused on making you look glamorous! She also does hair. She is trendy and hip. You can feel her expertise and confidence when you are in her chair. And she too was very affordable. read more
