She didn't fight me when I told her what I wanted, and it came out even better than I pictured. She understood what I needed to get a cut that works both curly and straight! For colors they use organic dyes which come out beautiful, without the harsh chemicals. I've never been one to get attached to hairdressers before... but I will actually be going back to her!

Went back after 5 weeks for another appointment with Ciara. At our last appointment, she cut my…read morenaturally curly 3"-4" long hair to one inch in length after I asked her to only take off an inch. At that same appointment I asked her for some foil high lights and she put blond in my naturally salt and pepper colored hair but only on the top so it looks funny. She also cut my hair in such a way that a cow lick on the back of my head is the most noticed part of my hairstyle and shaved the back of my neck so close it itched for weeks. So I went back today and before she started to work I showed her what was not working for me and instead of responding in a professional manor to correct the cut and color, she started raising her voice and talking over me and generally making a scene in the middle of the salon. I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable, I had to leave. Customers beware that this salon does not have a manager. The staff rent chairs. That means if you have a problem with an employees like this, there is no one to help the customer.

My first time visiting this salon. My service was a "shellac" manicure with Brittany. I have tried…read morenumerous nail salons and nail techs to no avail. The techs either rush or their service/technique is sub par. Brittany is a breath of fresh air. She is extremely meticulous and takes pride in her work! I will be a repeat customer. My only NEGATIVE is the salon does not offer pedicures. I don't want penalize with 4 stars but to offer massages, facials, hair services and NO pedicures is odd. Brittany is licensed to give pedicures but she said the salon owner does not offer them. To me that is money lost. Most people who get a manicure usually get a pedicure. I will be asking the owner to consider offering these services. Will update if I feel my review has changed. Give Hairaholic and Brittany a try. Definitely worth it, I finally found a nail tech that provides excellent service!

Without the text, which I'm happy to have anyone go through my phone, I also didn't receive any call that I was running late. I'm always punctual, I always call if I'm even 2 minutes behind. If they had called 5-10 after my appointment, I would have hopped in the car and made it there. Instead, I was charged automatically 25 minutes in while simultaneously getting a you missed an appointment email. The reception claimed the email was the reaching out yet I was Charged that very minute. I'm a loyal customer. I really would appreciate the refund so I can actually get my hair done. I think it's poor service for a receptionist yesterday to tell me to call back this morning and th manger in Norwood to really not care and say she can't do a thing about it. Which is untrue because when my hairs been messed up before by a new stylist , I've been given a redo for free as I looked a tiger one time. I know it's possible but the manager honestly sounded so apathetic and unwilling to even say a call could have been made before charging. I would love for a refund of $88.50 because I genuinely like the hair stylist I've used now for years.
