But on the bright side, I was introduced to Anna who transformed the butcher job into something manageable. (She really had her work cut out for her too.) Since then, I have not strayed. She is a very talented stylist who really listens to what you want. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by her for about 3 years and I have never been disappointed. I also see Linda for waxing and facials. She is amazing! I will not trust my brows to anyone else. Pricing at Salon Luka is very reasonable too. She also did my hair for a wedding, which came out gorgeous. Kat has been doing my hair for 5 years, and I'll honestly be a lifetime customer. This was my first time at Pelo. As usual, I waited until the last minute before calling, but there was an opening that same day. The salon itself is very beautiful and inviting - not intimidating like some can be. I really like how its broken up into rooms so you don't feel like your on display. The lighting is also not harsh, which is something I've never seen at a salon. It was nice not being blinded by lights while getting my hair washed. Anyway, the way its broken up into different sections really makes it feel like a one-on-one with a friend. Everyone there was really nice and the owner had just given them all Mother's Day presents, which were made by another local mom with a craft business. This was so thoughtful and heartening. They are very open about prices, which are very modest as well. I'm so happy for Kat and finding my new favorite salon!
