I tried to work it out with the receptionist saying I could go back and wait for just a cut at the at their convenience but she could not stop giving me the third degree. It's like high school. You would think you would be treated a bit better when you have been going there for years and in the middle of an emergency! There is a time and place. I would have expected a bit of tact. They were bent out of shape saying they usually charge half of the cost for the cut. Its not the money but the way it was handled. I was in the middle of an issue that was out of my control that I had to deal with. The receptionist and owner were very rude. I called the Owner to discuss and she never even called me back. I had to call again and got nowwhere. They do not get it. Sometimes people have emergencies and they need some kindness! All they were concerned about is that I was not able to have the apt and pay them and proceeded to give me a hard time about missing the apt. I was there in person so they new I had the emergency. I had been going there for four years. They get my apts wrong and schedule just a haircut when I ask for a haircut and blowdry. That was not the only and worst toxic experience I have had there!

Some are lazy and just wax, they don't bother doing any shaping. Others simply disregard my request to NOT make my eyebrows thin {my ultimate pet peeve! Argh!} Anna is the only one, aside from my mom who is also excellent, who listens and actually takes time to shape my brows, not just tear them apart with hot wax. She's also a complete sweetheart. The only pitfall I have about Oggi is the hours and the prices. The hours are tough to work around if you work full time and the prices are a bit steep. They do have limited hours on the weekends, but those can be busy. I once had a facial here, which Anna did a really great job with, but it was expensive. Not surprising though because this is a pretty fancy salon. Anna charges roughly $20 for brows, which is not too bad considering the effort she puts in. She sometimes spends up to 30 mins. doing just my brows! Anna clearly takes pride in her work and that's why I keep coming back.
