This wasn't just a toner problem - it's a straight up doesn't know how to do hair problem. It's been 3 months, and even after several corrective toners, the brassy bleach still keeps coming through. And the uneven haircut? It just has to grow out. Would never recommend booking with her.

I tried multiple salons, all over Providence - but realized that no one could hold a candle to JohnPaul. I like to see variety in my cuts, and I want a hairdresser who is willing to take some chances - I don't want to dictate EXACTLY what I want when I sit down in the chair. The waiting area is very clean. Erica was my stylist. She gave me advice as to what to color, what color to try, etc. She was so friendly, nice, and clearly very skilled...I was in and out in probably an hour and a half. While I waited for my hair to color, they offered me a glass of wine. I am so happy with the results! Partial highlights cost me $60 (it's normally $80 but I had a Yelp coupon). A blow dry afterwards costs $30, according to the receptionist.

I do appreciate that the owner was always willing to make things right, which says a lot about their commitment to customer service. Unfortunately, I reached a point where I couldn't continue trusting that I would leave happy. My biggest frustration was with the lack of professional accountability from some stylists. If a result doesn't look good, it should be acknowledged and addressed rather than pretending everything is fine. Consistency and honesty are just as important as talent, and that's ultimately why I decided to go elsewhere.
