This was my first time visiting as I wanted some advice on coloring my hair for next appointment. The 2 star rating is for the haircut I received. I have long hair, and expressed I'm looking for some angling in the front, a little layering, and overall keep the length because I'm a low maintenance hair girl. the first cut she makes is 8inches off of my top layer, all in one cut I couldn't believe how much hair was in my lap. The final result was a not very well blended style that is high maintenance to deal with, straightening it is out of the question because I have a ledge of unblended hair. I like to see variety in my cuts, and I want a hairdresser who is willing to take some chances - I don't want to dictate EXACTLY what I want when I sit down in the chair. The waiting area is very clean. Erica was my stylist. She gave me advice as to what to color, what color to try, etc. She was so friendly, nice, and clearly very skilled...I was in and out in probably an hour and a half. While I waited for my hair to color, they offered me a glass of wine. I am so happy with the results! Partial highlights cost me $60 (it's normally $80 but I had a Yelp coupon). A blow dry afterwards costs $30, according to the receptionist.
