Where do I even begin with Studio Blue? The dynamic duo, Brian and Brooke Buffington. In July, I was lucky enough to have them both there to document my big day! A lot goes into planning a wedding. You have the catering, the venue, the cake, the dress, the bridal party attire and the list goes on and on. When I sat down and thought about who I wanted to be there to document the biggest day of my life, I immediately thought of Brooke. She had done my best friends wedding last December and not only did I fall in love with her art, but with her! She has an ease about her that immediately makes you feel at home. It was a true joy to have her and her husband, Brian (who is equally as warm and funny I might add!) snapping pictures and shooting video at my wedding. I contacted Brooke in April of this year to do some family protraits and pictures of my then 8 month old son Amos. I was so glad I did. Not only did the pictures turned out just as I wanted, Brooke was awesome. She was so laid back and easy to get a long with. Very artistic which I loved and you know how taking pictures of a baby can be...sometimes not so easy. Amos was being a little fussy and did not want to wear his hat, but Brooke made it work. I would love to do some more pictures with her in the future and now that she's expanded her company, which is just right down the road from us, hopefully that will happen soon. Could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! From the very beginning, she was wonderful and adapted so well to our crazy schedule.
