I always seem to think of making an appointment during off hours so online booking is fantastic. I'm baffled as to why more salons don't offer this these days. I was able to book an appointment for a few days later for a cut and full highlights with Amber. She's worked at the salon for many years back when it was another name. She bought it off the previous owner a couple years ago and she seems to be doing great! She did a fantastic cut and I love my highlights and I'm VERY picky about my hair. I made an appointment for a pedicure a few days later and she made my tootsies feel great! Her prices are reasonable and she has weekly specials and promos. I look forward to returning and I'll be making an appointment for my husband soon!

Gia was very friendly and she read my vibe that I just wanted to sit there and chill in the fabulous massage chair so she didn't try to carry a long conversation on, which I appreciated. My tootsies look great, feel great, she did a great job! The place is small, cute, and clean. Everyone else who was working seemed very nice as well. Definitely will be back! *The only thing missing is better signage!

I stopped into John Robert's Spa with my friend for a facial. She's gone multiple times before, but…read morethis was my first time. The staff was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. While we waited to be taken back for our facials, we were offered coffee or tea. They have a special tea blend specifically for Aveda and it was so good! I ended up purchasing some before I left. Lol Luna did my facial and Summer did my friend's facial. We each got the 30 min facial. I think that's the perfect amount of time for a facial. They use Aveda products and everything smells so delicious. After my service, my skin was glowing. (And still is days later). So the reason why I gave 4 stars: 1) I felt the service was a bit on the pricey side for a 30 min facial. It was $80. That price won't deter me from getting another facial from here... but definitely not as often as I would if the price was a bit lower. The other reason I gave it 4 stars was that the receptionist ringing us out overcharged my friend. When my friend was trying to ask about it and explain why she thought she was overcharged, you could tell the receptionist was very confused and in the end it was just easier to let it go. Overall, this spa was great. Like I said, I will definitely come back, just not as often.

This is not a very big place but it's hidden in back of a parking lot in downtown Chagrin Falls. The inside was simply dressed but could use a simple update and maybe a bit more cleaning. The person who did my hair was Lisa I believe. She was warm and approachable, asked me what I wanted my hair to look like and asked if I had a photo. Having short hair may not be a thrill to stylist but she did a fabulous job giving me the va-va-voom I needed for this evening wedding. Blowouts are $25 and a steal. This place is really a gem. Apparently there are two older women that handle the 'beehive' clientele and normally two younger girls that handle the modern trendy cuts and one girl at the desk who seemed confused why losing 25% of the workforce on a busy Saturday was even a problem (I'm just guessing she's hot, but I didn't think now was the time to ask about that). I have also had Wendy and Rachel give me Shellac manicures, and they do fantastic jobs. I selected a nail color, and thought that was my only option. Rachel suggested a glitter ombre accent nail, and I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. I am actually one of those people who doesn't feel comfortable in places that are really cliquey, and Cory's never feels that way. The staff (regardless of whether they are the person taking care of you or not) is always friendly and accommodating. I guess I sort of get the comments about the one receptionist, but I wonder if that could just be because the rest of the staff is so friendly that her gruff nature really stands out in contrast. I brought my 4 year old daughter in to get her nails done, and the whole staff was so sweet to her, ooohing and aaahing over her nails, and the dress we had just bought for Christmas.
