After seeing how great the environment was, I decided to enroll myself and have now been part of the adult program for 6 months. It's a very family-oriented place many parents bring their kids and even end up joining themselves. The gym is always clean, and they even have a Flo Water dispenser, which is a nice touch. The professor is extremely helpful and patient, and the owners are accessible and involved with the members. As a woman, I really appreciate that there are other women training here too, and the men are always respectful and supportive. It truly feels like a comfortable and encouraging space for everyone. I really enjoy the variety of classes offered Gi, No-Gi, and fitness classes all of which help improve both skills and conditioning. I like how he incorporates a variety of workouts and steers from keeping the one on one sessions from being boring. I have tried going to other trainers near my area, but I do not manage to get the same results as I see with Marcos. He knows what works for me and how to get me summer, work, and now wedding ready! Both of my kids have also trained mixed martial arts/boxing with Marcos and Whiskey since the ages of 4 and 7. Now, 16 and 13, they continue to train with private lessons when we can fit it into their "busy teenage" schedule.
