    Artist Tyler
    Venus S.

Tyler fixed my hand tattoo, done by an amateur at another shop. Let me 1st say he is extremely talented! He freehanded the horse and drew my birthday. But, not only is he a talented artist, he has a great personality and is super down to earth. Even with my anxiety, I felt comfortable the whole time. A lot of laughs in a relaxing, chill environment. Just a overall great vibe. Studio 7 is also new and very clean inside. Recommend? Absolutely!! Tyler does traditional, black and white, fine line, portraits, water color, and just about all art. Bring him your vision. You won't be disappointed. Find him on IG to see his gallery. Amazing! Walk-ins welcomed. I advise you to call to make an appointment. Free street parking..

Oh my gosh! First time I didn't cry during a tattoo! Actually, they had me laughing... chill vibe and they seem to love what they do and appear to really like each other... not to mention their work is awesome! Especially Caylin! Clean and welcoming. I'll be back!

Went in for a little flash sheet tattoo during their Friday the 13th special in October. They were extremely busy and done taking walk ins but told us to stick around and they got to us really quickly. Decided to go back a month later to talk about getting larger pieces done. We talked to a few shops and Tom and Wolf were definitely the most eager to get to work on our drawings. The shop is clean and the guys are great (pretty hilarious too). Tom tattooed me, and I'm ecstatic about how beautiful it is. He took my idea and ran with it, it's a real piece of art The picture doesn't do it justice. Definitely going back to continue to get more work done.

So first I would like to congratulate Studio 7 on it's one year anniversary. I walk past this tattoo and piercing studio often when I walk my dog and I did not know they were opened for one year. They offered a piercing special and I happened to need a piercing redone so I stopped on in. Wolf pierced me and he was patient and informative. The shop is bright and welcoming and I recommend anyone that wants a piercing to stop on by.

Tom knocked this out in about 3 hours. A battlefield cross, our country's flag, and a few tombstones. Gone but never forgotten!

Alright, I'm not the type of person that easily trusts someone to tattoo me. In fact until this past weekend all of my tattoos have been done by the same person. But, after seeing the work Tom has been pumping out I decided to reach out to him and see if we could work something out. (I moved from Baltimore to California 11 years ago so we had a very short window to discuss placement, design, price, and find a time to get me in). I gave Tom a very basic idea of what I wanted and put my faith in him that he would turn my idea into art. Lest just say he NAILED it! I am a U.S. Army veteran that served 8 years and wanted a tattoo to show my respects to my brothers and sisters that never made it back home. Tom ran with this, and even made time to get me in on Easter Sunday before I flew out the next morning. I have nothing negative to say about the shop, Tom, or the way they handle business. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Baltimore so I can get some more work done. Thanks again for everything!

Otherwise, loved this smaller venue that really lets you get up and close to the stage. More and more fantastic artists have been coming through here and not going to some of the other venues in the baltimore area. The drinks are at great prices, which is suprising for a venue and even more surprising for baltimore. Definitely keep up to date with the events that come through here because there's not much advertisement. And the restaurants in the area are within walking distance and great to grab a bite before the show.

I recently attended the 2025 Subscape and was impressed by their ability to offer a free show at such a quality venue. I can't say enough great things about this place. I do want to give a special shout out to the doorman who who informed me that they were at capacity, but ultimately allowed me to enter after I waited for 20 minutes as he confirmed that their staff was able to allow another person in as people started to leave. This place is one of the many reasons why the Baltimore music scene is awesome.

I mean how can you pass by the mirrored egg or the golden hand and not think to find out what type of dope art is hidden inside. With so many unique pieces to look at I took my time leisurely strolling through the two buildings for the museum. Welcomed by a half naked mannequin with wings floating in the center of the stairs, you can't help but be intrigued to learn more about the artists work. There was so much to take in with every turn. I especially liked the homage to the staples of Baltimore's culture in the second building. And we can't forget about the gift shop that I literally could've spent hours in just rummaging through all the eclectic finds. I'm happy I finally bit the bullet to visit the American Visionary Art Musuem, and I look forward to a return visit to see all the things I missed.

I loved every single thing about this museum. The gift shop is fun, yes, but the art displays are all entirely unexpected & featuring mainly artists who are disabled/not professionals. There is art made from metal scraps, a ship built out of toothpicks, sculptures made by patients at a mental health institution. The passages to read about the pieces were delightfully detailed. It felt like ingesting the life story of dozens of strangers who turned to art at their darkest moments. Cannot recommend this museum enough. Also, the staff were so lovely. They genuinely cared about our experience too.
