I had booked a reservation at a hotel in the neighboring city. When I arrived to check-in, I was informed they had NO rooms left- they totally ignored my reservation. In a mad rush, I needed to find a room for the night. This was a last minute booking after a very long day of driving. On the positive side- the room was quiet, cool and safe. Sadly though, that's where the positive aspects end. The room smelled like it was soaked in urine. I get that this hotel is pet-friendly (which is wonderful), but their maintenance & housekeeping are terrible. Sticky, filthy stained floors. Damaged walls. The fridge was nasty. Though the sheets were clean, the bed/mattress smelled horrific. I literally almost slept in the car, and maybe should have. My family recently stayed here 4th of July weekend. Based on positive reviews i expected a good experience or at least decent!!! Whomever rated this place so high is FULL OF SHIT!!! It's an expensive, dirty crack shack!! The lady at the office was nice but super stingy with bath towels as we were only given 3 for a 2 night stay with 3 people. No big deal we used extra beach towels we had. All around outside and under shady areas of the building are potentially homeless people laying around for all hours of the day and night. There was one particular "couple" that had a beat up car with flat tires. They were smoking weed surely and casing the building as well as intentionally watching and following guests as they walked to and from their vehicles. Creepy & Sketchy AF!! Of course they were near the staircase that we needed to access our room. I requested a ground level room per being disabled but we made it work, not like we had much choice. The smell of weed both in and outside the room was ridiculous!! Now onto the room itself was disgusting!! Floors were dirty, bedside table also dirty with dead flies on it, i moved the pillows and pulled back the bedding to find both dead and alive flies in both beds!! No hair dryer in bathroom, broken plugins, dirty walls throughout, spiderwebs with live spiders in all corners of the room. After a trip to Walmart to stock on much needed supplies to make our room decent since it's Non-Refundable we stuck it out. We absolutely did not feel safe and DO NOT recommend anyone staying here especially if you have children!! I'm not the type of person to leave a review especially a negative one but if i could prevent someone else from falling into this trap so be it. Oh and they don't even deserve one star! read more

Room appeared neat but after check in found floors were filthy. Asked for them to be washed and was told Friday (this was Monday). Place has bugs, was told exterminator no showed. Rooms are not cleaned daily. . A/c works, bed clean, Direct TV cuts out, fridge clean, bathroom fan non-functional, dogs allowed but not all owners have cleaned up grounds after their animals. Laundry $2 wash $2 dry works well, no pool. read more

The front desk employee were accommodating. We are disabled seniors. they made sure we had a first floor room. We have both a service dog and a cat. When we told the office we didn't want maid service because of the animals. thankfully We have received all the service you expect when staying at a motel, without coming into the room. Do not confuse the name of this motel with a national chain motel. Their service is extremely different. read more

We were here for a total of 11 weeks. The staff was accommodating and kind. I felt safe the entire time. The only issue was the kitchenette. The eyes on the stove were very small as were the refrigerator and sink. They are remodeling rooms and I have not seen the new ones. read more

This place is horrible. At first, "LIZ" was very nice and cordial. When she found out I was unhappy, she was rude and hateful. Our first impressions were safety concerns. People who apparently "lived" at this place were all around outside. What is believed as one woman setting under a tree smoking something and drinking beer. Others hanging around their rooms with the doors open and drinking. We checked to see if the key card worked because Liz was very forth coming telling me if my card doesn't work after 8 pm, there is no one available. Once we arrived back at our room after 8pm. I opened the door and was hit with a very pungent smell. (Reminded me of the monkey house at the zoo) with the reviews stating how rude whoever answered the emergency number is. We decided to seek other accommodations. I phoned multiple times at 8:45am on and finally got liz about an hour later. She stated she couldn't refund our money that hotels.com would have to. Hotels.com said they have to approve it in which they did not. I sure didn't do my homework on this one... when it said non refundable.. now I know why. Per other reviews, if you want to sleep with bugs, hook up with someone or want drugs this place seems to be the place to go. read more

I've paid a lot more for a much shittier room, I can tell you that! After partying hard in Biloxi and not wanting to drive an hour and a half back to NOLA I found a room here for $45 on a Saturday night. It was more than adequate and for the price it was a steal. Our room had a little kitchenette, as I believe the hotel is geared towards longer staying guests. The bed wasn't super comfy and I don't think I'd want to stay here longer than a night or two. The next morning we were a little slow to leave and ended up checking out about a half hour late. Much to my surprise no one tried to charge me anything extra and didn't even rush us out which was a blessing! The staff were very kind and helpful and the room was just what we needed at a pretty amazing price. read more

Very trashy! Way over priced my room supposed to be smoke free but smellls like someone has smoked weed in it or is smoking weed next door! The lady at the front desk was nice! The room and walkway and entrance not so much! There is hair in the top part of the refrigerator! Tooth paste splatter all over bathroom mirror and the tub is nasty! Studio 6 is Motel 6's big brother that's gotten a makeover for extended stay guests. That said, there is certainly no minimum night requirement to stay here. I was really pleasantly surprised with this motel. We have family that lives just across the bridge in Biloxi, and considering the price and accommodations here, I think we've found our go-to motel for visits. We got a nice non-smoking room with 2 comfy full beds, a small closet, a dining area, a flat screen TV, plus a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, sink, mini-stove, coffee pot and there were even supplied utensils and cookware. Our room had wood laminate floors throughout, which was very unexpected and a smart choice given that there are probably many dirty boots stomping through these rooms. The photos I saw online before booking are actually not updated or as appealing as the current rooms. I have posted one that is more similar to the room I stayed in. The hotel is set back slightly from the main road, which keeps the traffic noise to a minimum. It's also pet friendly and has plenty of green space around to walk your dog. This isn't a luxurious place, but it's very clean and has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. The towels were refreshed daily, but things like coffee and soaps were not, so if you are staying for an extended period, you'll have to supply your own. I also noticed a laundry room on site. There is a supermarket nearby and restaurants within walking distance. The check-in and check-out was a little strange, because during certain hours, you have to ring a bell and go to a window because the lobby isn't staffed at all times. For 2 weekend nights around the New Year holiday, I paid $120 after all taxes, which is significantly cheaper than other comparable area hotels. The prices weren't any cheaper going through a 3rd party booking site versus the Motel 6 website, so I booked my 2 nights directly through the hotel. read more

I, was going to leave a better view until I'd been here awhile and got to talk with some long term residents. First I will say Elizabeth in the front office is pleasant and knowledgeable, she is the manager. Her staff is also pleasant in the office and the house keepers. Now the reason for the 2 rating. Their is a lot of drug dealing going on at this Ocean Springs location you can smell it and see it happing . The newly remodel units are terrible. The units are old and run down. I'm not sure where they got the nice pictures from but certainly not the case. After I'd been here while and spoken to some longer term folks, they state Richard the general manager turns a blind eye to the drugs going on and he is aware of what goes down. He isn't pleasant to deal with either. I, was also told if you have been here for any length of time and can't pay he allows certain residents to pay later, has some are 30 days past due. Now that came from the residents them self. Lots of trash laying around this place to. Bug problem here and the mattresses are nasty. This place has lots of potential if they got it together and did things right. The pricing is high for what you get here for it has nothing really to offer in the amenities area. The location now is a 5 out of a 5. Im not posting this view to discourage anyone from staying but simply putting my thoughts and what I was told. read more

Studio 6 in Pascagoula is still open, maybe they are closing soon, idk. Maybe that is why the girl at the front desk in Pascagoula seems to hate her job. I could barely understand her and she was so rude. There are no Do Not Disturb signs in the room. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

Very good price for a one-night stay. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Nice little kitchenette with basic cooking utilities and dishes, fridge and microwave. Spacious room with comfortable bed. I had no noise issues. Only soap is provided in the bathroom; bring your own shampoo and hairdryer. Clean with exception of floors which need a good mopping/steam cleaning. Close to all you need although the main road does have some traffic issues. read more

They remodeled on 2015. Great amenities, has a refrigerator/freezer, dishes, pans and stove and microwave. Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Dog friendly which is the most important. Beds and pillows were comfortable. And I love that there's no carpet, best for dogs/keeping clean. Small bathroom but for the price this place is perfect. read more

Trashy and rude Trash in my room from the previous stay. Refrigerator did not work and maintenence man was always to busy to come to my room. They were out of blankets so we had to sleep with just sheets. Our air condition barely worked. The staff was rude. The housekeeping would not give me towels instead told me to leave my three kids which are ages 2, 1, and 3 months in a room by themselves while I walked to the office on the other side of the hotel. Lots of druggies coming in and out of the rooms at late hours and at decent hours keep your doors closed because unsupervised kids will run in and out of the rooms demanding me give them the snacks I bought for my kids and to let them have my kids balls. And staff will not even talk to the parents. Wifi doesn't work at all and despite what studio six website says there is no pool. Vending machines steal money. And rooms on the first floor are reserved for friends and family of the staff read more

What was there not to love from Studio 6.... First the price, I was able to extend my vacation because of the inexpensive prices. The location was right around the block from my cousin's condo, the one I was there to visit. The room, so clean and the beds were extremely comfy. The hotel was super packed with guests, but not once did I hear noise! Rooms must be sound proof. I love Mississippi and now with this fantastic hotel find I will be able to travel again next year from Ohio. The office staff was very friendly and the housekeeper did an awesome job!!! This hotel is ABSOLUTELY disgusting. I made reservations planning to stay for an extended period of time to save some money because their rates are so cheep...I quickly found out why. The first non-smoking room I checked into REEKED of smoke and the shower was an unfinished cement floor with a drain. I asked to be moved, and the next room still smelled rather unpleasant, although not of smoke this time, so I figured I would just suck it up. After all, I wasn't expecting a five star hotel for $29 a night. The next day I saw a bug scamper across the microwave and behind it...on first glance I thought it was a small roach (which are very common around here.) Later that evening I saw and killed two large adult bed bugs on the night stands. I of course immediately packed the items I had in the room and left. The next day I told the manager it was only reasonable that he refund my stay for the disgusting infestation of bed bugs in my room. He responded by saying that one of his cleaning crew went into the room after I left and informed them of the bed bugs and the employee didn't see any sign of bed bugs, and they called pest control to come check on the issue. He would need to wait for the determination from the pest control company before he could make a determination on a refund. The next day I get an email from this generic corporate email address studio6guestrelations@staystudio6.com. The email was a cookie cutter template saying they didn't find any pest activity so my mind should be put at ease because they addressed my concern. Of course, it didn't address any of my concerns and my mind wasn't placed at ease so I tried to respond to the email including pictures of the bugs that I had taken...delivery to that email address failed permanently. They have it set up so you can't even respond to the junk email they send you. If that doesn't tell you the type of company and management you are dealing with I don't know what will. For your own good I HIGHLY advise you do not stay at this motel. read more
