The facial was another day. I've never had an Aveda facial and it was lovely. Very soothing and no overpowering scents. I got a cut & color done by Paige & I must say, she is fantastic! Very friendly & knows what she's doing. For a junior stylist she is impressive! She cut my hair as I asked & even my bangs turned out amazing (which never has happened). In the past I've had some decent cuts & colors but it's always when I go home & do it myself it's a disaster! Even the day after doing my hair was a breeze! No bangs sticking up & no out of control or badly cut curls! I've had my share of bad haircuts but boy am I glad I took a chance & booked an appointment at Silver Shears. I can't wait to go back! Edit: March 6, 2012 As it turns out my color is a little off. Instead of it being all one color, I have a dark reddish on the top of my head & dark dark brown on the bottom. It wasn't that noticable when it was first done but it sure is noticable now. I have never before had a stylist do this. We decided on something very different. It turned out that I only liked it for about 2 weeks, but I was glad that I had tried it. The second time was to trim it to go back to my original style. Some areas need to grow a bit more. Third time is perfect. I have very thick, course, hair and I like it short, and she is very good at thinning it and recommending products to soften and avoid frizz. She is also very friendly and a great conversationalist. They didn't, which was no big deal, so I scheduled an appointment for a couple days later. When I showed up for my appointment, the girl at the front desk told be I was an hour early. When I told her this was the time she had booked me for, she told me I was mistaken (of course she couldn't have made a mistake...). I had a prior commitment, so I rescheduled. When I showed up for my rescheduled appointment, no one was working at the front desk, so I had a seat on the couch. After waiting for 15min without anyone acknowledging me (no "hi", "your hair dresser is just finishing up with another customer", "would you like anything to drink"...), I left to find a new salon. I hope you treat your regular customers better than you treated me, and in the future, I hope you will welcome new customers and treat them with respect too.

The staff at Creativity were able to balance it out with low lights, and managed to give me a cut that helped to get rid of a lot of the damage while not cutting off all the length. You definitely get a high-end experience and great results at Creativity.
