Below is a detailed explanation of the fraud/scam perpetrated against opoLLoqo by www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray). The PayPal Case ID number is: PP-004-695-812-666
On 03/11/2016, we hired www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) to perform some social media marketing task for our start-up. As agreed and confirmed by both sides, our campaign was to start on 03/14/2016. Unfortunately, that was not be.
On 03/14/2016 (round about 09:00 AM PST), we received an email from www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray), informing us that our campaign would start on 03/14/2016, but again, that was not to be as we suspected that it was nothing more than a false pretense.
Our suspicion will proof to be true as www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) did not contact us for the rest of the day.
On 03/15/2016, because the contract has been breached, we contacted www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray), and inform them that were cancelling our working relationship with them effective immediately for the following reasons:
1. Failure to provide us with a Marketing Kick-off Questionnaire as promised even though we made repeated request for the questionnaire from www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray); and
2. Failure to Kick-off our Social Media campaign on 03/14/2016 as agreed/confirmed, even though www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) sent us an email on the morning of 03/14/2016, informing us that our campaign would have commenced that day.
On 03/15/2016 (01:03 PM PST), in an email sent to us, www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) told us that they were willing to refund our $400.00.
On 03/15/2016 (01:51 PM PST), in an email sent to us, www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) told us that they were willing to process our refund if we would accept $300.00, and let them take $100.00 for doing absolutely nothing! This was blackmail, fraud, and a scam, and we refused to accept it.
On 03/16/2016 (11:37 AM PST), in an email sent to us, www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) told us that they would refund our $400.00 in 7-business day but we refused to accept that. Instead, we gave them an ultimatum. Furthermore, we informed them that we will complain to John McCabe, Senior Vice President of PayPal for Customer Service and Operations, and inform him of what was going on. On 03/17/2016 (09:24 AM PST), we received an email from PayPal informing us that $400.00 was refunded to us by www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray), and that it may take 3-5 business days before we receive the refund.
On 03/21/2016 (04:58 AM PST), we received another email from PayPal informing us that our $400.00 refund could not be processes due to a "bounced" eCheck from www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray).
On 03/24/2016 (06:16 AM PST), we received this email from www.Studio41Creative.com (Natalie Grinnell Ray) through PayPal's Resolution Center:
