When I arrived in person, they said no appointment was booked and the receptionist kept on taking calls while we were having a conversation. Instead of putting the person on the line on hold, as any respectable business would do; she had a full on conversation and kept me waiting. She then finally offered for me to wait an hour for another session or to book it at a later time. Unfortunately her solution was no good to me as I was unavailable for a different time frame. She couldn't care less and hide her frustration. She refused a refund even thought I wasn't getting the service I paid for. Finally she agreed made an error on the refund of course. 2 hours later, I get a call from the owner of the school thinking they were calling to apologize about the matter and perhaps convince me to book another appointment. Well to my surprise she accused me of asking for a refund and still taking a course. When I told her that I did not stay for another appointment she said that her teacher confirmed her that I did take the class. I confronted her about my issue saying that I was glad to have gotten a refund since they are so unorganized and instead of being humble and apologized she went full on defensive saying that they had just changed their system and that this type of error rarely happens tho I am the second unfortunate customer. Please know that it is your responsibility as a business to make sure that your tools are working. If not you should at least have a backup to make sure that you dont leave your PAYING customer to figure out a resolution within their means to correct YOUR mistake. I am very disappointed because this place came highly recommended but truly their customer service needs to be worked on as there was another customer that was given contradictory information and was now left with no solution as well. Think twice before you book with them.

However, my first in-car driving lesson with Mario Enzo driving school went even better than I imagined, and the ones that followed were even better every time. All three driving instructors are very helpful, patient and kind when it comes to teaching and helping students on the road. They make us feel very comfortable at the wheel, and are always very encouraging. They make students feel confident while driving, and as a side note, they are very pleasant people to talk to and have nice conversations with on the road! They prepare us very well for the in-car driving exam and always give great advice and pointers for improvement! In addition, Rosy, the secretary of Mario Enzo, is one of the most patient and kind people I've ever met. Though there are a lot of appointments and dates to keep track of, she always helps students out in the best way possible when it comes to scheduling in-car driving sessions or theory classes! She is a very warm and pleasant person and makes everyone feel welcome every time they walk into the building! Lastly, the theory classes were excellent. I had Pino Ragusa as a teacher for the theory part, and he made all the lessons super fun. Every lesson was interactive, and he was very good at helping the students understand the material and participate (even though it's quite difficult considering all sessions were on zoom!). Overall, I would definitely, 100% recommend Mario Enzo driving school. Thank you so much to Louise, Pino, Enzo and Rosy for making this such a positive experience!

I signed up for a 3 day photography course and I found the course to be very informative. The…read morematerial was covered and we had a few in-class exercises in each of the classes. I've been taking pictures with digital point and shoot cameras and had an old film SLR (Nikon F-401s) for a long time. I've also owned/used a Nikon D5100 and later upgraded to a Nikon D5300 but in all that time of taking pictures, I generally left the cameras on automatic or would use one of the pre-programmed modes on the camera. My cellphone camera also had manual and automatic settings and I would generally leave it on automatic. I had reviewed a lot of videos online as well as read a few books about switching to manual when shooting but I tend to be the type of person who gets the most out of participating in a class/workshop as opposed to reading or watching a video on the topic. I took public transit to get to the first class and for the second and third class, I decided to take my car. The place is easily accessible by public transit but because my course was on the weekend (Saturday), the bus schedule heading back to the metro was long after my first class so I decided to bring my car for the subsequent classes. There are only ~5 guest visitor parking spots which fills up fast since there are other businesses in the area that use the same free parking spaces but I managed to find parking on the street a few blocks away without any issues. The class size was small (I was one of three participants during the session) so the instructor (Varvara/Barbara) had time to answer our questions. I brought my Nikon D5300 to the class and since it was a "standard" DSLR, even though Varvara was more familiar with the Canon line of DSLRs, with my rudimentary knowledge of my camera's menu, she had no problems showing me how to get to the settings on my camera. One student brought a Nikon 1 series type of camera which was a bit trickier as the menus weren't "standard" and another student borrowed/rented one of the Canon cameras for the classes. The only minor negatives was that the PDF class material were sometimes sent a bit on the late side and classes finished a bit on the early side (although all the material was covered). The class that I was in also had the scheduling for the second and third class changed (so the second class which was supposed to happen in the evening, happened in the afternoon and the third class which was supposed to happen in the afternoon, happened in the evening. The schedule change didn't really affect me but mentioning it here. I would have no issues taking another workshop/class here.

I did a beginners session with her and found the exercises she gave very useful. I definitely hope to attend some more advanced classes here
