Two arenas in one, the adjacent building is only for ice skating if swimming is not your thing. The main reason I chose this place-for my 6 year old son-besides the ones mentioned above was because they offer diving lessons. You can't find this at just any swimming centre. The place is equipped with a pool for this purpose, several diving boards at different heights and looks like they're ready to train olympians. I made the last one up but I don't see why not tho. Parking on weekends could be a challenge. Even though they have a decent parking lot but the amount of people they get here could be overwhelming sometimes. Locker rooms are ok but could be a bit bigger. Perhaps they didn't expect to receive this much crowd when they built it. Swimming areas usually swarming with kids and parents on the sidelines watching their little ones, yelling, shouting sometimes, encouraging them. It could get noisy but all fun and action. All in all, I'm satisfied with this centre, it does the job and more for me. Until our Laval aquatic centre is up and running next year (hopefully), the Lavalois will have to make little trips around the town for this purpose.

This pool is for members only and you must be a Kirkland or Beaconsfield resident to become one (a member), otherwise everyone that works and who are members look at you like an invader...an intruder... It's that beautiful! They get threaten by visitors during heat waves and barrage you with nozy questions of your living standards, to see if you should be greated with kindness or shun with darting glances! OK, it's not that bad...maybe I should not drink this 5th coffee? Beautiful seating, beautiful pool. When all of the rénovations will be done we might get a membership. But why no diving boards? (namely when she got her start by literally mirroring mermaid linden's website, and giving the media in Canada photos and video of mermaid linden and another swim school claiming it was HER- so she went viral, under someone else's stolen content) She doesn't have the best reputation within the professional world, though that shouldn't reflect on individual franchises who buy their franchises from her and they do not associate. in the beginning when they were trying to kickstarter for their tails, they advertised it using other tail makers tails, and footage taken without consent of other mermaids and used despite being asked not to use other mers unwilling to promote her brand. Another instance of stealing foam inserts from mermaid linden's monofins and then claiming she invented them for her tails. a mermaid convention had frequent issues with her attending workshops she hadn't paid for, and then filming them, and then trying to stop her from putting those workshops people paid for- for free online. There are people who worked for her when she first started and didn't get all of their pay, and were not provided the promised materials to put on classes. She is not a company I choose to support due to the damage she has caused in the industry, and her blatant disregard for the rights of others when it comes to filming them without their knowledge and then trying to use that to represent her company. Also all the blatant lying claims to be the first swim school in Canada (she was the 3rd or 4th by the time she got going) and the first pro mermaid. *rolls eyes* She's also lying about her swimming instructors being certified lifeguards. where she's hiring people without any credentials. her monofins are heavy, and difficult to swim with, cheap quality, fall off easily and mermaid spandex has a very short life span, meaning they rip easily. students pay 60$ pp/hour, when instructors get paid 14$ an hour to teach a full class of 8.
