This time, I came in for a haircut and my stylist, Becky, was absolutely wonderful. Becky truly listened to my needs and demonstrated her expertise and kindness throughout the session. I was pleasantly surprised by the Redken products used at the salon. Not only did they work wonders on my hair, but their subtle fragrances were really nice. Becky also shared that Redken provides significant support in terms of education and knowledge to the Hair Loft team, which was evident in the way she handled my hair and how she educated me on my options. As someone who has been using henna for years, I was interested in lightening my hair. However, I was aware of the potential reactions between henna and bleach. Becky took the initiative to research my specific brand of henna and consulted with the Redken support team. Although I wasn't a candidate for lightening, she proposed some glazing options to blend my grays seamlessly without a drastic demarcation line. Moreover, she gave me the best haircut I've had in years! What made my experience even more special was Becky's kindness beyond the salon chair. Being new to town, she provided me with a recommendation for a chiropractor and offered to assist with any other local recommendations, from restaurants to doctors. When your belly is 12" from my ear and I can hear the nascent farts rumbling around inside you, it's damaging to my overall customer experience. Play all the new age disco rap you want, I will still be able to feel your fart tremors on my cheek when you press up against my face in that way you do. (Also, is that really necessary? You smell like old cheese.) I guess this place is okay enough, but there are some real drawbacks.
